Maybe its not secret, but i have discovered for myself the idea of writing with reverse intent.
To take ones own writing, and re-write it anew with the opposite or counter intention with new words that mirror the original indirectly, rather in reverse.
Its opening the door for endless creativity. Its not merely just re-writing with different words, it is the exact OPPOSITE sentiment. Its simple, and clear. Sort of a way to make sure what you're writing is precisely what you mean.
I was writing in reverse, thinking of how silly it was, but after reading the original and its reverse, its quite consistent. My mind is currently blown. Does anyone else do this? has anyone before?!

I want to elucidate to myself and rationalize a justification for my suicide. I've been speaking to my only friend and on my other frequent boards about my feelings and I think what would be valuable to me right now is to more clearly describe why I want what I do and to discuss it with other people. I feel that I have insufficient reason to live rather than sufficient reason to die. I would really appreciate hearing other people's opinions on what point someone must reach before, in your opinions, suicide is acceptable.

I have always been an excellent writer but have never written for enjoyment or passion, always for school or work. I want to write an erotic short story for my girlfriend... and then have her read it, and then finally I want to act it all out.
I got to talking to my girlfriend about my ballerina fantasies ...she used to be a ballerina as a kid, I have always wanted to fuck a ballerina... enough said.
Where do I begin? I have the idea for a plot in my head, my plan is to make a detailed outline and then start writing, rearranging as necessary. I also think I should do some research at the same time to make it as realistic as possible. This will probably take me a few weeks or more, working on it every day.
Any advice? How do I get the creative juices flowing? How should I organize the process? How should I edit for readability? How do I write it for my audience, while keeping it flexible enough that it could appeal to a wider audience?
What else should I consider?

As far as Goethe, read Willhelm Meister or Elective Affinities next, they are probably the most similar to Werther.
The other Weimer circle writers, especially Schiller are also similar. If you're getting into Weimar Classicism or German Romanticism in general you should read On the Aesthetic Education of Man, which is a series of letters Schiller wrote to Goethe on the nature of aesthetics, and it will give you a lot of grounding into the way these guys are thinking, although it takes some grounding in Kant to understand the technical terminology Schiller uses.
You could also read Novalis' Henry von Oftendingen, it has a lot of thematic and stylistic similarities, but I don't think it's nearly as good as Goethe's writing, although some people say that's due to poor translation.

what's the point of even writing anymore? Literature is no longer significant. No, you will not be a Tolstoy, a Joyce, a Shakespeare. The time of literary men being significant, of literature being significant, is over. Literature is nothing but a sad cult of people uneilling to let go of the past. You will be writing just for other writers and literary posers. You will not effect more than a handful of people. Your work will be forgotten, as all modern literature is being, except by a very select few people. The audience you wish to connect with is gone. Writing is, and will forever be, nothing more than shouting into an empty void. Literature will close ever in on itself, becoming more and more of a niche, until it is swallowed up and all the hours spent toiling away at your masterpiece, all the sweaty nights spent toiling over a countless number of tomes, all the poems memorized and words and poetic devices learned and mastered -- all of it will be lost to the dust. Quit before it is too late.
