Same. It causes me immense pain every day knowing this. Did you ever rationalize it or does it haunt you?

Contrary to what you may think, having a shitty life doesn't automatically make you talented. It's not like the third world kids working in sweat shops are writing the greatest works of the century or anything.

OP just write shit. Lots of it. Look at authors you connect with and understand why they work for you. Don't be afraid to copy ideas or styles. Read Epictetus.
Man, I had an entire series of epic harbinger dreams for my psychosis that I patched into a novel via automatic writing and they're the shittiest shit shit shit that ever shat shit. At the time they felt religiously significant though. In addition to that being shit, the story of how I went psychotic is also considered shitty, apparently being "elementary school level fiction". My own life makes for a bad story. And I'm psychotic.
Really, any kind of psychotic-spectrum condition will just mean a jumbled hodgepodge of symbolism. The odds of it being good or meaningful to anyone except the psychotic are astronomically low (though improved by heavy immersion in a certain symbolic cultural context, like say fundamentalist christianity).

Can we please stop this
I wonder why you made this thread. It seems stupid to be angry over what meanings people give common words.

>people still believe it’s impossible to differentiate between "its" and "it’s" or – God forbid – "theirs" and "there’s"
>the audicity to assume there is no contrast

when you hear the words being used everyday, it becomes annoying.
To be clear, there IS no actual contrast between the two. To the person receiving your emotion, sympathy and empathy will feel the same.
People say they empathize with some so they can get closer to them, but in reality, the process of "feeling" sympathy/empathy are the exact same and displayed the exact same.
what's the point of reading if you're going to forget everything

Who will write his biography?
And we all agree he is by the far the most intersting political figure for a biography in our modern day?

>>7803498
There'll probably a few dozen being thrown around once he's dead. I think he'll probably write an autobiography like Yeltsin and Gorby.
>And we all agree he is by the far the most intersting political figure for a biography in our modern day?
He's certainly one of the most interesting political figures of our modern day, but unless his biography includes enough information about his political decisions, it could end being pretty boring.
Hi /lit/, are you smart enough to join MENSA, the international society of geniuses? Find out by answering the pictured riddle! No cheating, now!

Have you all gotten your copies of The Secret in the Basement yet? It's the new book from the author of The Legend of the 10 Elemental Masters.

He has two books. Elemental Masters is about a battle to save the Earth from elemental destruction. The Secret in the Basement moves to a more ordinary story wherein a young man having dreams about weird symbols ends up on a quest fighting monsters. Both are written in a script-like format attempting to replicate the experience of playing an RPG.

What does /lit/ think of Inner Game of Tennis?
I am an actor and everyone I know is completely obsessed with this book. Any time someone has trouble on stage they bring it up. I read it and I thought it was all fucking bullshit.
I noticed the actors who have the most trouble tend to be the ones who read this book and take it seriously.
>>7803199
yes, you're better than everyone OP, congrats.
>>7803199
Not entirely related, but what made tennis the popular sport in the upper-middle class crowd?
>>7803207
I know I am.
>>7803212
Well tennis is a very old sport that was originally played by the upper-class. In Henry V, the French king sent him tennis balls as an insult (or perhaps because the king was a lunatic at the time).
I bet they like it now because its a good social sport that you can somewhat leisurely play.
Whats his best book for purely entertainment value?
Amazing fun
And it's NYRB too, so the pretentious fucks are allowed to like it too
>>7802996
I think you're in the wrong thread friendo
David Icke Guide to the Global Conspiracy. Basically an integrated narrative for all of his bullshit. Also he directly says the reptilian are Ashkenazic Jews but he was still determined to mean literal reptiles when he was detained in Canada which is top kek
