Did Russians ever create anything that is remotely original or intellectually complex, or all they have is this nauseatingly boring preaching from painfully mediocre mind?
You sound fat
Is it because you babble that you do nothing, or do you babble because you do nothing?
Of course they did. Try reading Dostoevsky, or maybe Tolstoy.
Recommend me some light, funny reading I don't have to commit to and can read when im just waiting around
Confederacy of dunces.
It really ought to be more popular than it is and is very light reading.

Oh good shit, I was trying to remember the name of that
Halfway through the collection and, wow, this is depressing. It's not just the stories themselves. He's making me question my own life and relationships.
Is all his work like this?

more of less, the story about the monk is comfy
What did you guys think of Thermos Flasks? One half of me thinks it was a bit half-strewn. At the same time there was something really evocative and disquieting in it.

>Have creative writing workshop at uni
>first day
>nobody says anything to each other
>just try not to make eye contact
>most we learned from each other was by introductions
>everyone leaves without saying anything
>Be today
>resolve that I'm going to be talkative, positive, engaging, try to bring up the energy, put myself out there
>leave early
>walk up, see door closed
>realize the class was at 1, not 2
>even though I was there at 1 on the first day of class
>Go back to my dorm
Well /lit/, now that I've established myself as the bad boy, what can I do to make myself seem as mysterious as possible?
you're already in. the women in your class were dripping when they heard you nonresponse to attendance. now you just sit back and let them come to you.
write thinly veiled masturbatory murder fantasies about shooting up the class. if anyone calls you out or says they feel uncomfortable, tell them it's irony.
>go to uni writing club
>get a writing prompt
>everyone sits in silence
>told to read out what you've written
>half of us don't because it's embarrassing
>meet 4/10 autistic chick there
>become good friends
>ask her out
>she says she doesn't experience romantic feelings and is asexual
>never replies to my messages or calls again after that
Well that was a waste of time
how do I write about people in this century while phones, internet, and social media exist? I feel like it ruins a lot of interactions
*you* won't.
Just write about the day in a life of an imageboard loser like yourself and describe every time you browse some website, look at your phone, or react to an email/message.
>>9927488
And whose 'authentic interactions' consist of Jew memes
The Antichrist - XLIV
"[...]The underlying will to make use only of such concepts, symbols and attitudes as fit into priestly practice, the instinctive repudiation of every other mode of thought, and every other method of estimating values and utilities–this is not only tradition, it is inheritance: only as an inheritance is it able to operate with the force of nature. The whole of mankind, even the best minds of the best ages (with one exception, perhaps hardly human–), have permitted themselves to be deceived.[...]"
Who is he talking about, /lit/? Who is this hardly human exception? He isnt talking about Jesus because one can't be deceived by his own theory (or perhaps yes, but I dont think he is talking about Jesus in this context).

This libcuck postmodern cuck needs the redpill

Thoughts on this book?
>>9934356
im into white nationalism and getting women back in the kitchen and out of art. take your guess
>>9934356
It's The Turner Diaries for leftist grils
>>9934473
>turner diaries is wish fulfillment for white nationalists in which they hold all the power and execute all their enemies
>the handmaids tale is wish fulfillment for leftist grils in which a totalitarian patriarchy forces them into sex slavery and keeps them as breeding stock
makes me ponder
Post your recent purchases and other anon's will rate you.

>>9927402

Remember when reading Kant that he's talking about the conditions that make experience possible.
I have these 2 books to read while waiting for classes.

Only knowledge I know of the one on the right was South Park with john lennon.
>>9927397

>>9927378
What's the /lit/ approved translation? I want to read Stirner again now that I'm more familiar with philosophy.
>>9928718
The only lit approved translation is none. In other words, the original German
how do i keep motivated at writing a book? i have all the ideas, and i open up the word document, but nothing gets written down. I always somehow distract myself and find something else like netflix and its aggrivating. Teach me your ways
For one thing, turn off the internet when it's writing time.
Accept that your first draft will be crap and just start farting out words until you have a complete story/essay/whatever you're writing. You can improve it in the rewrites (of which there should be several).
you have to do it yourself.
