What do you think of Surrealism? Does it give the sensation of a dream-like state, or is it unorganized nonsense? I've only read a few surrealist works so far but each of them were great. There's something kind of provocative about it.

I wish someone would upload a folder of high quality PDFs of this list. So many of them can it be found on the Internet.

i enjoy surrealism. theyre aesthetically pleasing but at the same time point to the incongruities and absurdities that we take for granted in everyday life. the relation between kafka's writings and "kafkaesque situations" is the clearest example of this for me.

THE
VINDICATION
OF
MAN
Princess is gonna come home, we'll have some more awkward Wright-writes-women chapters and Montrose is going to punch a galaxy in the face. And Witchbro is back, probably going to see him elevated to machine godhood too. I'm excited.

>Witchbro
Mixed feelings, would have been better if he were consigned to the lost mythic human past remembered only by Montrose and Azarchel. On the other hand we're going to see some crazy tech sand things have actually worked out pretty well so far.
Pretty sure we do know that Rania built an Iron Menelaus when she got lonely.

POST BOOKS THAT FEATURE MANIPULATION OF MATHEMATICAL CONCEPTS
It's not like it's going anywhere
>scientists believe in existence of giant snake monster
>hear reports of attacks in Brazilian rain forest
>they go to investigate
>Brazilian tribe shows them the giant snake monster
>it's a train hauling lumber to be shipped to USA
>lots of anti-capitalist themes and noble savage malarkey
>tl;dr scientists destroy train & crew with spears and blow darts.

I'm writing a stream of conscious genre-defying piece. The plot solely consists of a homosexual one night stand. Thematically it explores contemporary politics, Jungian models of consciousness and the repercussions of the sexual revolution.

How many times are you going to make this? What's your endgame here?
Whats the best metaphor/simile you can come up with about someone who drinks a lot?
>He drank like he was dying of thirst at every moment.
>He drank more than all the rain in winter.
Give me your best /lit/, I want to be convinced this board is full of talent!

really solid first one, he drank like he was really thirsty--what more do you need?
he drank like the antidote was in it.. which, in a way, it was.
He drank like he had a cup in his hand filled with liquid that he really wanted to drink.

And so we say,
To him today.
Leave us now,
Or you will pay.
Our lives are lost,
At little cost.
So take the bow,
Heave up your cross.
Leave us now.
Or you will pay,
With what we say
To him today.
It seems like everyone I know is on a constant quest to improve themselves, in a somewhat superficial manner:
>Exercise, yoga, meditation
>Reading self-help, productivity apps, "brain training" products
>Good nutrition, supplements, vitamins
>Optimizing sleep with gadgets such as the "FitBit"
