Is it possible to work in a literary field without getting a degree in English or Creative Writing? I really love both reading and writing fiction and non-fiction literature, but I can't major in English at my school as I won't be able to meet the foreign language requirements. Because of this, I'm majoring in History instead (which I also love).
Have I closed the door to a possible literary career down the road?
