They've produced a handful of interesting philosophers over the past few decades, so it's not hopeless.

What's the name for this smile/facial expression? That sort of smile you give when you see something very sad or naive and you almost want to see the silver lining or know that the world is going to rock the naive person's boat?
Like when with down syndrome tells you they honestly want to become a surgeon - what is the name of this facial expression that occurs as a result?
Idk, ask my parents when I told them I'm moving back in.
Grimace.

>Like when with down syndrome tells you they honestly want to become a surgeon
warm-pity, because i'm not a total shit eater

that german word
>he doesn't exclusively write with a pen containing chemical and water resistant indelible ink
You're better off using a pencil. You do realize I could easily grab your "valuable" (only to you, no doubt) writings and erase them using a common household chemical such as bleach and you'd be none the wiser, right? Heck I could probably even just use water. You can't do that with my valuable (to everyone) writings because I exclusively write using a pen containing what is essentially permanent ink. Been doing it for years, probably since many of you were in diapers (~2012).
I hope you don't one day experience such a tragedy!

You're better off using invisible ink. You do realize I could easily grab your "valuable" (only to you, no doubt) chiseled stones and slam them on the ground? I'd fucking do it too what state do you live in?

what is the blockchain?
Why does it solve the problem of spacetime?
Is the blockchain merely a metaphor for continuous, unceasing time, of which all are now more actively aware by means of the internet?
What if anything has the blockchain to do with Debord's discussion of time in his Society of the Spectacle? There, Debord also considers human(?) historical conceptualizations of time, especially as they relate to his marxist analysis.

V. threat time. I just started and am already getting hit in the feely wheelies. What am I in for?
>>8971046
Not about V. , but if i had trouble following some parts of lot 49 should i explore the rest of pynchon or just give up. I hear thats his easiest.
>>8971060
It's his shortest, but not his easiest. For easy, go with Inherent Vice / Bleeding Edge. They're decent. I think TCOL49 is meant to be read twice, for what it's worth.
Why the fucking fuck is the cover so vaporwave?
the queen of /lit/ is working on her new book whats its gonna be about?

I have never in my life gotten so angry at one person before.

Here's a rap David wrote in 1994.
Ayo DFW back up in this mawfucka
Bout to spit some PoMo Flow
My Nigga Tommy P, get at me
Prepare for hot bars of Doom
Also, fuck you, Harold Bloom!
Ayo, so, but then, it goes like this:
Ayo my homie pass the Blotter
Get my shit high. Epiphany: This Is Water
Weed smoke to my dome, white banner flying,
Thinkin of my Moms, The Bitch had me crying
Fuck Harvard, yo, I dropped the fuck out
That's when I met a new literary scout
I wrote some shit, yeah, it was 'ight
About some bitch and her crazy plight
Now I'm finna unload my Best
Shit's gonna cash, funny, a true Infinite Jest
My prose is swag-central, Swag-O--Matic
I wrote a potboiler, The Corrections,
I told my homie Franzen he could have it
I needa get my dick sucked to scratch an itch
I got no love for hoes tho, I'll throw a table at a bitch
Yo, girl, show me the tushy, let me at that Audience Pussy
Blast your O-Ring with my load
Orin is me, I still ain't no love for hoes
Let me tell you again who I am:
Davey Wallace, bitch, and this ends my jam
If you spent another hour editing it would have been funny.
You aren't funny.
