>reading books by people who are alive
>posting pictures of people who are m&m's candy
So you're telling me to kill every author before I read their stuff.
Gotcha.

Know any decent literature forums that aren't /lit/, Reddit or goodreads?

but in the end, we're all just shitposting here
So what you use that self-learning for?
For me it gives my brain a good feel but it is completely useless.
I rather have a good mentor and actually learn some hard stuff. With self-learning I avoid too technical stuff.
Buy this.

This is still the most important book of the 21st century and the foundation for New Atheism
>inb4 fedora pics
I just want to add that not every atheist is a fucking blue pilled islamophilic leftard sjw mangina. Alas, many of them are.
But Dawkins himself has been very critical of islam too, naming it as 'one of the big evils in this wordl'.
Please someone post that picture comparing quotes of Einstein, Bohr etc. and then all the meme atheists.
The problem isn't that Dawkins is shitting on christianity, the problem is that he fundamentally does not understand religion in a philosophical and theological sense. This is of course no surprise, given that Dawkins thinks philosophy is a bunch of hogwash and religion is for people that "believe in imaginary friends".
If you want a book that just shits on the curch as an institution, read this, although I don't think it's been fully translated to english...

Should a writer only write about what they know?
How do I write an epic novel about wasting last 10 years of my life on refreshing bashkortostanian navel piercing picture forum and posting green frogs?
>>9238093
yeah. that's why author's research
>>9238093
Do you mean to say, that it is possible to write about that, which you do not know?
I was thinking about reading some post-modern Freudian work when I came across this guy. He has a book called "psychomagics", which apparently is Freudian rambling with some mysticism thrown here and there.
I was thinking about reading it (I recently read "Civilization and it's discontents" and found it interesting, but more in a "it was nice reading all this shitposting" kind of way), but I'm not sure if my expectations will be met, and since I'm don't have that much time (I'm currently working and studying at the same time) I don't want to invest my time in a book that will leave me with a shitty taste.
Is this, dare I say it, my guy? Or there's other authors that are doing what I'm searching for in better ways?
And no, I'm not reading Slavoj Zizek (at least not without reading Lacan first).

Jodoroowsky is very much a mystic. He non-ironically performed a Tarot reading for Kanye West once.
I don't know how relevant his writing is to Freud. Most people appreciate Jodorowsky for his films, which I think are absolutely amazing. Check out Holy Mountain and El Topo ("the Mole"). Both are really crazy films.

forgive the pretentious narration. There isn't anything like that in the film. But it isn't exactly an easy film to make a trailer for.
What are you currently writing, anon?

Currently writing a short story as a means of catharsis to relieve myself of my agonizing affection for my cousin. I'll post the story on /lit/ when I finish.

I feel I am about to have my next EC. It will be the sixth EC. How do I make sure this EC will be just as good as the once I already had?
I usually write down my thoughts when I have an EC, and whenever I feel like it, I look at my diary and read these thoughts I have. I take a deep breath and think how lucky I am having all these ECs.
The first one will always be the most special EC to me. By then, I wasn't even aware I was having an EC. But now I worry my forthcoming EC will not be as rememberable. I am not sure what to do at this point.
Any books on this subject which will help me come to terms with my sixth EC and make it as good as the other ones? Thanks in advance.
Just get the punchline
Let's just hope this will be the one during which you commit suicide.
>>9238004
Could you be more specific? Also hope you don't mind the mistake of writing one as once.
Also it would be helpful if you told me how many ECs you have so I can validate what you are saying can be trusted or not.
I think you have to have at least two maybe three ECs.

What's the point of "experimental" literature? Do these authors just like to be pretentious on purpose?
they weren't smart enough to into theoretical literature
They likely have no experiences or deeper questions that are worth relating to others and no respect for the established forms of literature
