Body acts without mind.
Mind can act without body?
Soul is the membrane between the two
Dreams are mind?
Without body sometimes
Soul is the membrane between the two
Time is ticking
Without anything but thing
Body is the membrane between the two
Nature caused the three
The three are
Without Body no mind,
Without mind no body
Soul is the membrane between the two
Can two exist without three?
When there is none
there can be one
so if there is one there is two
if there is two is there three?
Perhaps four?
One three two three one
Two three one two three
One three one three one
Two Three Two Three Two
One two three one two three
Four
Five
More?
There was a beginning but it's gone
The current is current so long as we so long
Ideas outlast Humen
So do crocs
dinosaurs of might, spite and monstrocity
we decorate our cities with atrocity
greatness comes from pain
not by default but true
pain is suffering
the wheel doesn't stop
get off while you can
Experience
experience
experience
and none
better
Maybe?
S'okay, it's a false dilemma.

Hi /fit/, I really liked when our boards joined and think you guys are pretty alright. Can we talk about my favorite series and one of the most intentional pieces of the 21st century?

Can you talk about a different book?
Nevermind, I'll bite: how is Harry Potter influential in anything else but parody material, including but not limited to the SJW?

Did you somehow mean the diluvial influx of teenage literature that came after it?
What are some essential introductory works for a Germanophile? Sturm und Drang or Weimar Classicism preferred.

For reals tho I heard this is pretty bad unless you're doing research on WW2.

Am I committing an aesthetic sin by reading virtually everything on my Kindle?
Yes, and suicide is one of the only two possible redeeming actions. The other being to stop making dumb threads. Your choice.

What is a good thread to you?

What philosophy books should a person start with. Or what philosophers should I start with
Plato
Aristotle
Everything else is not mandatory and up to you.
Read A New History of Western Philosophy in four volumes by Sir Anthony Kenny. Then read the originals of the philosophers who interest you the most.

Why not just read philosophy?
does this publishing line have good translations? i've started getting some stuff from them and i wanna know if i goofed or not
Why didn't you research before buying?
>>9356752
If you're native English speaker and need translations of these then kys
Depends on the book, but generally OWC uses at least resonably good translations.
Is stealing immoral if its out of necessity and from someone who has too much anyway?
nope, private property is an imaginary invention to keep you cucked and starving
>morality
Is this the 18th century?
>>9356565
Depends what you mean by immoral. By my definition, no. Anything that is actually necessary in and of itself and not merely "necessary if you want X" cannot be given a moral value, only an existential one.

Are you saying she didn't write her book?
no joke, a girl in my class got mad when I told her capote wrote it for her and said something along the lines of "male academia will try to undermine women even in obvious situations" even though as a gay man capote was more oppressed in his time than a white southern wealthy straight woman worshipped by American readers ever was
Oh, fuck, it suddenly dawns on me that To Kill A Mockingbird is just the spiritual successor of Uncle Tom's Cabin.

When the rain stops it's back to it not being a rainy day perfect for reading.
What's the best book to read during actual rainfall?
There's something very rage inducing about the Instagram chicks who photoshop their 'reading setup' with coffee and a book and a fancy bookmark on a hardwood floor.
But damn if I don't like it myself.

my diary desu
I've been reading this book in class
>I'm in a standard class and we have to read one at a time aloud <soslow>
We're on the part where Jeanette gets forceraped by Billy Deel (qt's reading it and I'm imagining what it would be like if she and me were in that shack). It was weird but whatever. Read on and now we're on the part where she is getting rubbed on by her boss at work. Another qt's reading it this time and this is where I'm starting to lose it. My teacher starts talking some bullshit about sexualization of underaged girls and this that and the other but who cares.
I finally lost control when her father starts pimping her out. I'm half asleep at my desk leaning against the wall and TeacherLady starts talking about what the father is doing. I now have a boner in class over this ugly damsel and I, very calmly mind you, ask for permission to use the bathroom. *Jerk*Jerk*Jerk* Come back into the room and it seems like everyones looking at me
So really I came to ask you if I should be worried by this behavior and if you've ever done anything similar
It's entirely natural to be aroused by fiction of an erotic nature, Anon.
