Movie industry has been dead since the 70s and onward and is nothing more than a marketing business now. Pop culture from the 80s really ruined the quality of what is produced now, the public would rather have a catchphrase they can meme all summer so that it can be forgotten and disposed when the next one comes out rather than a movie with genuine depth.

Not sure anon, but I read Brothers Karamazov and Crime and Punishment without even looking at a bible and actually regret it, especially for BT. Both had plenty of annotations that pointed you in the right direction whenever Dostoy referenced the bible, but I'm certain a lot of it went over my head.

I dont see why you should not do that.
It usually takes about a week after finishing a book until I feel like i total understood the meaning.
Looking at other peoples ideas surely helps, I assume.
