I just finished The Sun Also Rises.

It's like Harry Potter, except:

it's a kind of prequel-reboot that shows why voldemort's obsession with eternal life is folly. harry is the headmaster of hogwarts and a kind of mixture of harry and voldemort. he first befriends ron through a prostitute they both know, hermione. harry and ron have many adventures together but ron suddenly develops an illness and dies. this makes harry fear his own death and he begins a desperate search for eternal life. at the end of his search he meets dumbledore, who convinces him that death is an unavoidable part of human existence. harry returns to hogwarts and dedicates the remainder of his life to expanding the old castle, rebuilding parts of it that have fallen into ruin since its founding.

It's just like Harry Potter but Harry is a monk, Ron is a rogue, and Hermione is a pseudo-intellectual and Neville is the bastard child of Dumbledore and one day Dumbledore is murdered and everyone blames it on Ron and eventually Hermione goes mad trying to logically believe in God while Harry desperately tries to convince Hermione that love of God does not require any logic and then Neville kills himself and Ron is sentenced to a decade in a Siberian prison camp.

Nature and wilderness books aren't something that have lent themselves to a fundamental work in the genre, in the way romance literature has Stendhal, or how science fiction has Dune.

The suggestions you may get will be adequate, but I recommend getting out of the genre as soon as possible, though the idea of nature literature is great.

The descriptions in Heart of Darkness are really good.

They mainly advertise the book in the store, and they also protect it from being damaged by dust.

It's only trash genre fiction if it has like a clearly identifiable influence from another work within the apparent genre.
