As someone that is a part of actually healthy communities of LGBT people, I can actually say quite confidently that I actually know of more cis lesbians (admittedly relatively young ones, I don't know any older than 30, for example) that are open or even totally in favor of dating trans women, than those that are disinclined to it.

One thing so many 4chan trans girls don't realize is that all of the TERFs on this website are here, more or less because they left tumblr, due to the fact that tumblr lesbians and feminists are incredible pro-trans and by in large, have no problem with dating trans girls.

Seriously, if you're a trans girl, leave the cesspool that is 4chan once in a while, and I can assure you that you will find cisles girls who are open to dating you.

I imagine that you would probably be accepted in most LGBT groups, so long as they are the relatively open kind (that is, not specific to lesbian issues, for example) .

But I've never been any sort of straight, so I have a lot less that I can offer in that regard~

Its really sad that you think that, and have been conditioned to believe that by society and others.

The truth is that many of the negative stereotypes attached to trans women are almost identical to the some of the negative attitudes all lesbians have been dealing with for a long time.

Not being considered "real women", being called "mannish and ugly" or even being told "you're only doing that because otherwise you wouldn't be dated otherwise" are all things that are part of negative attitudes towards lesbians. Many also grow up terrified of being thought of as "predatory" or "perverts" just for expressing themselves and their sexuality.
