I had FFS with this surgeon. Overall, he did a good job, and I pass now. But he did not shave down my orbital rims sufficiently, which makes my brow look heavy around the eyes. He did set back the sinus quite a bit though. The orbital rims were just not brought down enough. That's my only criticism.

My orbital rims and brow ridge as a whole were very masculine before the surgery. He set back my forehead significantly, but did not shave down the orbital rims sufficiently. This makes my forehead kind of "wide" if that makes sense, with a bump above my eyes. It gives my eyes a heavy, masculine appearance even if the brow bossing above my eyes isn't there anymore. When doing forehead stuff you HAVE to tackle both - brow bossing above the eyes AND the orbital rim prominence. It seems this surgeon does not sufficiently tackle the latter. I've seen a couple posts on Susan's that discussed a similar concern with their outcome from this surgeon. I'll be getting it revised with another surgeon soon.

I just want to comment on one more thing. I don't regret going to Dr. DB. It seems like it's impossible to find a surgeon that does perfect foreheads. You either have surgeons that set back the sinus significantly (like Dr. DB) and neglect the orbital rims, or surgeons that significantly shave down the orbital rims but don't know how to do a forehead reconstruction (and therefore don't solve the brow bossing).

My glabella projects like a quarter of an inch beyond my eyeball, but my orbitals are curved and flat.

Luckily for me, I wear glasses and that tends to minimizing the percieved distance.

I think the biggest issue with most transgirls in this board is that they are either very young or are living in extreme poverty levels (NEET, etc).
