Pleated skirts make your hips look bigger, so they're flattering for most trans girls. And skinny cis girls tend to wear them quite a bit too. Thanks. Seems scattered opinions would indicate I'm as fine as anyone can be given diverse ranges of opinions - and heightened criticism when it comes to judging trannies. I'm not fashion obsessed or meticulous but I do try.

As for your point about blending, I don't see why anyone would sacrifice their clothing to fit in with the top of the normal bellcurve unless they have no aesthetic inclinations whatsoever. What's the point of going to the effort of transitioning if such simple expressions as clothing are barred in the process due to fears of it making you look slightly different? I think if you need to use generic clothes to blend in, you probably aren't blending in, in the first place. Choosing something to your own taste, with self-awareness to pick something at least moderately flattering seems most sensible. With that said a lot of trannies do have horrendous crossplay-esque taste.
