Any tips for expressing femininity in clothing as a male? I'm having trouble developing or finding inspiration for a style that I can still feel comfortable wearing while not feeling out of sync with my self-image.
Usually I would suggest slimmer clothes. There's also the option of tasteful, neutral accessories - necklaces, bracelets, earrings if applicable.
Beyond that you can grow your hair out and save as often as you can.

>save as often as you can.
I meant shave, but yes, save often as well. Nothing is more annoying than losing hours of progress.

I'm down with growing my hair and trying some jewellery (hadn't even thought of that desu) but I feel like the slim fit meme will just make me look overtly gay.
Flowy tops and soft fabrics are always a good way to go, but you need to be in shape for it to work. If you're overweight you're better off focusing on losing weight first.

I'm actually closer to normal/under weight for my height but got a little tum fat coming on so started doing cardio to get rid of it +occasional corset use to help shape. Do you think I should be buying women's clothes or just men's clothes of that style? Man shoulders and man thighs always make things look ridiculous. Maybe that's why flowy is best... it hides the masculine form... as opposed to >>8604923 suggestion of slim fits.

>tfw I just lost the last two hours of progress and Zidane is no longer wearing a choker
Feels bad

Buy men's clothing in those cuts first. If you have a ciswoman friend you trust have her take you shopping for the women's stuff. They know those clothes better.

walk yourself into the fucking store and point to what you want and ask the sales ppl to get the shit in your size. measure yourself according to the website of the store you're shopping at.
>three stores at the mall have multiple employees that recognize me and have always been helpful as an angel.

When I think flowy, I think baggy. Being the slim and twinky type (similar to this, but not that good) I benefit from more tight fitting attire. That's kind of what I went in to this thread thinking. I didn't even consider what body type the OP has.

Expression that is "planned" or "decided" rationally is not expression but imitation.
By definition it does not need "tips", since it is an expression of what *you* are, not how you want to be perceived.

Considering korean male idols' femininity you might get some inspiration from the kpop scene. Also check out this flower boy thing.
