One reason I'm fine with it is because it shows that the community isn't all just a bunch of gay guys. When you see the different flags, it shows the diversity of the community in a way the rainbow flag by itself doesn't.

Also I (ace) personally don't feel like the rainbow flag properly applies to me in the first place. I haven't faced the kind of discrimination LGBT individuals have, for example.

I have mixed feelings about some of the more narrowly-defined ones (e.g., lipstick lesbian) and ones like the leather and pony kink flags. They're not really on the same level as something like the rainbow flag, but on the other hand nobody's forcing me to wave them
