Anime is SO fucking trash.
It's sp painfully badly written. How are you entertained by the lazy, shoddy writing that is evident in 99% of anime?
At first I thought it must just be lost in translation, and that in japanese the dialogue is not quite so blunt, but that doesn't even make sense. And then I thought that maybe because it was made for kids they couldn't write in any subtlety and instead used shocking amounts of excessive exposition in EVERY series. But then I saw AoT which is clearly not made for kids.
The fact is that Japanese people just don't understand human interactions or conversations and therefore cannot write a decent tv show.
