Not a tranny but I cringed at this hair talk while its true girls can go years without going to the hairdresser it doesnt stimulate hairgrowth and more importantly your hair can appear to stop growing if you stop going to the hairdresser expecially if you dont already have hair that reaches ur butt. Regular checkups are needed to keep the hair healthy and grow into the shape you want. Yes just tell your hairdresser you want to get rid of any split ends and tell her you want to grow out your hair into a certain length if you have a certain style in mind show her that. They'll know how to cut it for you. By getting rid of split ends you are giving your hair more space to grow. It will stimulate the speed and the length the hair grows in. By doing this more often the faster you will achieve your desired length.

So the hair wont actually grow faster out of the follicle but wont break off since damaged parts are removed and splits cant travel higher.

My question is less related to growth speed than more to style, preventing to look like an idiot and having a smooth transition between short and the desired length.

Well if you have no split ends then you should be fine and you are taking good care for it. If you dont know what haircut you want just feminine you could ask your hairdresser what she thinks fits best with your face or you could look through a hair portfolio book to get inspired, your hair salon should have these but there are also plenty of websites you can visit for this. Personally I keep a photo on my phone of my desired haircut at all times.

I personally would just visit the hairdresser and get some inbetween haircuts just so your hair doesnt start to look goofy but eventually it won't matter if you just want to reach a desired length. I literally want to scream right now I'm so nervous and stressed out.

So after my T levels came back normal, my doctor prescribed me 0.05mg estrogen patches and 50mg of spiro.

Everything I've been hearing though is that that is either an extremely low daily dose of estrogen, or that oral medications are better. Apparently people take them sublingually.

I called up the doctors office asking if I could switch to some sort of sublingual medication, but they said there's no medication of that type commercially avaliable.

I'm guessing that most oral things people just dissolve under their tongue if their micronized? But they aren't marketed specifically as sublingual? I don't know what the fucks going on or what I should do.
