Hormones render the transitioner infertile. Sperm produced after initiating HRT are less likely to be viable, even if the process has been reversed.

It's expensive. Insurance won't cover it, but after two wanks I had enough for at least 14 attempts at in vitro. If you plan on using a surrogate, look into the requirements for direct donor testing beforehand.
