Reminds me of something funny that happened while I was stationed in the states.
I was between deployments and sleeping in the barracks rather than fucking around with military housing, and I had a thing about having to pee when I first woke up for morning PT. To my surprise I found a turd in one of the urinals. Puzzled, I got one of the other early birds and showed him what I found, he told me it had been a common occurrence on the base for weeks. They called it; "The Case Of The Phantom Shiter", because no one had been caught doing it and there were no leads as to who might be the culprit.
About a week and a half in, I noticed one of the PFC's carrying a tall can of Pringles into the Mess Hall, bringing outside food into the Mess wasn't allowed. I thought it a minor lapse until I saw him doing it periodically for the next two days. On the third I stopped him before he reached his usual seat and asked him why he had something he wasn't supposed to in the Mess, he got nervous and I eventually got fed up with his evasiveness and snatched the can from him. It was abnormally warm and smelled awful, so, I looked inside to find shit in the can. This guy had been carrying shit in a Pringles can for a good part of the day and at some point had placed the shit in the urinal for people to find the next morning.
