This may come off as a silly question, but does anyone have any advice on how to find my sexuality again?
About 2 months into HRT and my libido just completely died. I'm a year into it now, and my sexuality shows no signs of coming back.
Perhaps it requires a different mindset than I'm used to? I'm not sure, but I kind of miss actually enjoying sexual things.
I have tried to masturbate quite a few times over the months, but I just don't feel as 'into it' as I used to, and it sometimes just feels like a chore to even try.

Hi I'm been selfmedding for about 4 months now and I just got some lab test results back. My current regimen is 2mg sublingual Estrofem in the morning and 2mg sublingual Estrofem + 37.5mg Cypro.

LH - 0.1 mIU/mL
FSH - <0.2 mIU/mL
Estradiol - 98.1 pg/mL
Testosterone - 20 ng/dL

I was wondering if I should increase my dose to include another additional 2mg of Estrofem in the afternoon to bring my estradiol levels up. Thanks!

I'm currently 4 months on HRT and live with my conservative Hispanic mother. I know that coming out to her would make living at home undoubtedly worse until I could move out but I hate having to hide myself from her.

Like I've finally found the reason why I always felt different and I want to tell her and let her know that her child is gonna be okay. But I can't because her religious beliefs will stop her from being able to have a rational discussion about things.

I'm moving out in August to go off to college and I just would like to know,

Should I send her a letter once I'm at college telling her that I'm trans? Should I wait until she comes up to visit to tell her in person? Can I even hide the effects of HRT for 10 months?

I feel so conflicted.

I keep my meds in a contact lens carrier with a bit of gauze to keep them from rattling around. I only put in enough for two days, then refill it after I take the last dose on the second day. Makes keeping track a hell of a lot easier, plus if I'm out and about it's super inconspicuous and watertight.

My plan is to get on hrt and leave my house and not telling them then letting them find out later when I decide to see them. I've been transitioning for about 5 months now and I'm considering stopping.

I live at home with a mother that would be unsupportive so I can't really do anything that a lot of transgirls do to help feminize themselves until I move out.

Sometimes I feel like I look feminine but sometimes I feel like I look straight up like a man. I wasn't andro or feminine-looking pre-hrt, all I have going for me is feminine eyes and a small brow ridge.

I feel like my jawline is fucked, there's no way just fat is gonna hide that shit. I'm also 6'2, so that's another thing I've got against me. I never get gendered female while I see girls who are less farther along than me getting gendered female all the time!

I thought I was at a decent advantage starting at 20 but I don't think I have the genes for it. Did anyone else have things get better after the 5 month mark or is it just better to stop before I do too much damage?

How do I ask my mom to use female pronouns without sounding like a tumblr retard? She knows about my trans stuff and is supportive but I still feel uncomfortable talking about that sort of thing with her, like I'd be forcing her to call me that even if she doesn't really see me that way.

I have all these flyaway hairs and curled ends in my hair.

Is the only way to get rid of them to go to a salon? I'm not really out yet so I can't really go into a salon and ask for a girl haircut..

Just do it. I was super worried too but my boyfriend basically forced me to do it for my own good and it went better than I was expecting.

At first we went to like a proper hairdresser salon sorta thing and I didn't feel comfortable at all. It felt like they were judging me constantly and I couldn't really take it so we left. We tried again later but went to a small business place owned by a nice lady and she was great. She was friendly and didn't seem to mind or be weirded out at all. She even gave me suggestions on my hair after I admitted I didn't really know what to go for. So my recommendation at least is to try a place like that first, it went a lot better for me.

Remember that these people are just trying to get paid, they aren't going to refuse a customer just because they're trans unless you live in Saudi Arabia or something. They might silently judge you but if you aren't bothered by that then you have no reason to worry. To be honest they probably won't even think you're trans. Why would stopping make things any better? At the very least it's stopping your body from getting worse, and even if it doesn't do enough to make you pass it's still improving it. 5 months isn't enough to give up regardless (not that there's ever much reason not to just stay on HRT even if you don't pass); you've barely seen any changes by then.
