So I'll probably get a lot of flak for this since everyone in /lgbt/ hates each other, especially the trans community, but who knows.
I'm nonbinary, ama.

What about the world makes you feel safe to come out? How much does being nonbinary influence your personality?

These are both actually good questions, in truth the world is a scary place to everyone in its own way and I haven't always felt safe about coming out. Here it's just the internet, but it real life I guess it's what you might expect, friends of like-minds, or even just ones you've known for a while that you know will support you, that's really the big one for me. But inclusive communities -ie knowing your school or work environment well enough to be comfortable, and influential like-minded people too, like role models one might have I suppose.
As for it affecting my personality, it may be a bit of a give and take, maybe my personality influenced my identity at one point even, but I think the most it influences that is with opportunities. Being nb makes some stuff a little tougher but also lets you meet and connect with more people like you pretty easily and if you're confident in your identity it's really freeing, it sometimes just is nice to know I've embraced it and can be empowering or motivating, even if the world isn't.
Kinda opens your mind a little

Haha fair enough, not sure how I've personally hurt you but hopefully your attitude can be put to a creative use
