i've been playing a lot of famicom lately.
also studying up on the aarch64 instruction set, which is kinda hard i'm kinda guessing @ this point that i should learn about aarch32 & apply it to aarch64.

shovel knight is inspired by REAL retro games.
which means i'm better of playing older games for that effect. besides, some of my ideas are already enriched by playing really games that i still think are fun & kinda cute.
a pc-booter game is a game that boots up on ibm/msx computers, en lieu of the operating system, that way it can utilized more of the machines resources, they're also tough to crack into for cheating. the drawback is that developers had to account for all kinds of different machines. but if the trend were to pick up again on the raspberry pi, it might be easier, & it would be interesting to see the possibilities of a pc-booter designed for hardware as new & cookie-cutter as the raspberry pi
