So what are good places to work if you're transitioning? Companies that won't fire you for it (regardless of employment laws), companies that have good insurance plans that cover surgery, etc.
Also places that are out of the consumer-eye

look for *big* corporations or gov't
they typically have decent benefits & also have HR protect you b/c lawsuits.
Either Brazzers or Microsoft/Google/Apple

>Companies that won't fire you for it (regardless of employment laws)
If there were no such laws, companies could openly say whether they like or dislike trans employees. Because of the totalitarian laws, you can't tell. So much for helping!
>companies that have good insurance plans that cover surgery
Just think about it, if your co-workers have to pay for you to transition, what are you paying for them to do?

It's not a "wrongthought" if you say it or post it online. Then its speech, not thought.

well, sure, you could be a doctor or a lawyer as a trans person. nobody is going to disrespect you if you are a white collar professional.
nothing is stopping you.

My goal is to be a dedicated but low key history teacher at a low rent community college. American mtf, fairly passable but I have no intentions of going "full stealth" especially not at work. How fucked am I?

The real problem is that offices are a hostile environment for humans. People are not meant to be sedentary.
Working in a warehouse is hard work, but at least I get to look at said hard work at the end of the day and feel I've accomplished something. And there's no office drama; ust banter and camaraderie.
Wouldn't recommend it for trannies, though. It's hard work and you just don't last if you can't keep up.

Businesses are not people and therefore do not have the right to discriminate against individuals.
Your co-workers aren't paying for shit. Chunks of your wages are taken to go towards insurance coverage, 401k's, pensions, retirement, social security, etc.
>>7576774
Brazzers doesn't produce tranny porn nor does any porn company on Earth provide their performers any form of insurance/benefits.

>Businesses are not people
In america They are legally considered people for certain things.
Call Center, I work with a lot of trans. Good benefits and insurance. Can be stressful dealing with customers
I'm mtf and I'm a photographer. I'm self employed and if people want to judge me for being trans they can go to someone else. The work is super easy, I just take pictures, sometimes suggest shots, play with some effects and print them. The money varies but I make about $15k a year which is enough for me to live on.

I know it's probably not feasible for most of you but nowadays no one involved in research in hard sciences cares about anything about you except what you have to say and your work. You can be a transsexual albino midget with a mohawk and still get taken seriously. I never met anyone more unassuming than actual scientist, it's really liberating.
