Probably, I had AGP from when I was 9 or 10 and learned what transition was at 12, but I was way too afraid to come out to my parents to do anything about that.
If they ever talked to me how they'd still love and accept me if I was gay or trans things would probably be different; as it is it took me 10 years to finally start HRT.
