Not really. You're assuming that heterosexuality is an objective category based on scientific reality, but in truth its a socially constructed category, as are most modern sexualities.

Certain people do innately only possess the ability to be attracted to one gender, but I'd say this is no more than 1/5~1/3 of the population. Most people endogenously possess the ability to be attracted to both sexes/genders, but are socialized into specific categories based on their assigned sex, and which attraction is predominant. Straight men are straight because they are heteronormative men. This is why society considers a man getting fucked in the ass, even by a woman using her fingers, as "kinda gay".

leaving the box of male gender is literally the least straight thing someone can do.
