I don't really care too much for anime. I mean, I occasionally enjoy it but aside from that I don't watch it that often. Loved it when I first discovered it as a kid but quickly grew out of it.


Why do cis people like to make sweeping generalizations about trans people? If you did that shit with gays or black people you'd be rightly called out for it yet no one says shit when they do it to trans people.

We're allowed to be. Girls fucking love anime. You're just not allowed to love it, according to bitchy suburban moms who view it as the devil, who in turn taught their daughters to hate it. But Trans girls never dealt with high school bullying from women in the same way cis girls do. So we are free from those arbitrary judgments, and thus are free to choose what we like and don't like for ourselves... So we gravitate naturally to the best forms of entertainment. No, anime is legitimately trash most of the time. There are some good artists, and some quality writers, and they make the only horror comics I've ever enjoyed, but anime as a medium is trash right now. Yes, I agree completely that there is some good stuff to be found, but you'll have to dig through piles of garbage to get to it and it's not what most people are consuming.
