So maybe it should just be like bathrooms---if you pass (or are androgynous), go in, do your business, don't make a fuss about being trans, and leave. I personally don't think spaces should be created that discriminate against gender. We do not really see men's only colleges that often, and domestic violence shelters for men are often poorly funded despite it being statistically just as likely for men to suffer from domestic violence as women (they're just much less likely to come forward about it). It's one thing for bathrooms to be segregated (although I do believe that passing trans women should be able to use women's bathrooms).

The genders should be together in as much of their daily lives as possible.

Anon, to approach it reasonably, it's because these people are often attractive men... and because it's not becoming an ugly cis woman, but an ugly trans woman. Being trans comes with a lot of social implications. Like, I'm transitioning, even though I may have a little hon face. It's probably the best decision I've ever made. But it's still regrettable that I have to give up my attractive male looks, because I definitely look better as a man than I will as a female, and presenting as cis and coming off as normal is pretty nice too.

Seriously, I have no problem with probably like 95% of you. It's just that the trans "community" has become so all-encompassing that it seems like anyone can claim to be the opposite gender "in spirit" and go wherever they want. If you have genuine gender dysphoria and take the efforts needed to change your sex (hormones and all that), I seriously have no problem sharing a space with you.

With that as a given - that they're not going anywhere - consider this.

If you say trans people CANT use the restroom of their gender identity and MUST use the restroom/changing room/ whatever of their birth sex you are putting your daughter in MUCH MORE danger. Why?

Because you make it easier for the pedos. If trans people CAN use women spaces then the pedo who isn't trans must at least appear to be trans. They must still make some attempt to shave, dress, makeup, etc and will most likely be completely terrible at it and look like a clown - because they're not trans and have never done this before. It will raise more flags than the alternative to keep people on alert.

The alternative is you DONT allow trans into those spaces. Then the fully male presenting pedo walks into the women's space and just has to say "sorry, I'm female by birth so legally I have to be here."
