That's like saying I would go around my city collecting homeless people and inviting them all to stay at my place. There just isn't any practical way to address these kinds of issues, except allow emigrants to flee to bordering countries that may have a.) Sufficient space, and b.) Such a substantial cultural and linguistic overlap that said emigrants could actually assimilate into those countries without need for extensive support programs.

Automation and globalization destroyed the American working class, not illegal immigrants. Every time you go into the store and see a self checkout line, those are cashiers not getting hired.
