Males are males and females are females regardless of their trans status. (And other genders are valid too.) I get that part.
Here is my question:
Say you have a a straight male and a straight female who are attracted to one another. But one of them is trans and isn't intending on having SRS or at least hasn't decided to yet, (either scenario works for this question.)
The girl finds out the guys is trans. Is she transphobic for losing interest in him because he doesn't have a penis? Let's say she doesn't see him as "not a man," either. She just likes penises.
The reverse also works for this question; is the guy transphobic for losing interest in the girl because she doesn't have a vagina? Even if he still sees her as woman, (since she is.)
Is it transphobia? Is it preference? Is it situational?
For the sake a argument let's say that if the trans partner had had SRS, the cis partner would still be interested even knowing of their trans status.
I'm not baiting or tryna find a loophole. I am seriously curious what people think about this. I want to be educated please. I know I'm probably being ignorant here, help me.

The way I see it the way they see each other in total is more important. If you see the transguy as a guy, but can't handle no-penis, then preference. If you see the transguy as a girl because the lack of penis then it's transphobic. Same the other way around with the transgirl. Both parts are being idiots for not doing srs if they want to present complete in their corrected gender.

>Is it transphobia? Is it preference? Is it situational?
It's semantics.

This.

It's not transphobia unless they're insulting the person specifically for being trans. Gentalia is a preference and I can understand rejection due to me being trans.

I can't speak for MtF's, but FtM bottom surgery is fucking shit.
For some reason this is controversial to say, well not here but everywhere else really: An unsatisfying sex life is totally grounds to end a relationship. It's unfortunate but it's totally natural and there's nothing transphobic about it.

Medical intervention changes sex. They might not be actual females but they aren't makes either.
You don't seem to know what you're talking about. Why not go home than act like some incompetent blowhard.

Do you frequently use the genitals of your friends? Do you frequently use the genitals of the people you share a restroom with?
>>6632684
Aesthetic preferences don't just apply to genitals, sis.
>>6632622
Why do you not like trans people? Is it genitalia or some other reason?
>>6632695
We're gross.
>>6632039
Incorrect. What if the man lost his penis to cancer and is not trans at all?
>>6632830
How is that an issue? The girl would still go for no-penis preference. No-penis is no-penis.

It's not "trans phobia"

1. Are you jerking off your friends
2. Are you jerking off randos in the bathroom

Its really ironic i have come across this thread after reading this response in a retarded thread on tumblr where the original post was about what you asked "let me spell it out for you.
You don’t need sexual attraction to be in a relationship. Plane and simple. Saying that you do completely invalidates asexual people. Genuinely liking someone for their personality and not just because you can fuck them is important. The ability to fuck someone shouldn’t effect how you feel about someone if you truly like them for who they are. Plane and simple."
remember kids, if you dont like trannies you are also repressing asexuals.....?!?!??

Did you even read the original post?
