Chlamydia infection from cheating ex. Got high fever and urethritis which made peeing hell. Healed with antibiotics.

I'd been itchy for a week or so and then one day I found one crawling in my belly hair
I thought it was a weird bug but on a whim I googled it and sure enough, it was crabs
I shaved all my body hair off. One of them managed to get onto my eyelashes but I pulled a couple of the eyelashes out and got it that way
I had some weird blue spots on my body for a week after which apparently is what crab bites look like (their spit makes your skin temporarily change colour) but besides that it wasn't a big deal
It made me really appreciate not being itchy

I have herpes, it's not nearly as bad as people make it out to be.

I got HPV probably like 6 months ago/ diagnosed about 2 months ago. Found a tiiiiiiny little bump on my dick, thought I'd get it checked out when I went for some vaccines. Nurse froze it off and I'm taking some Reishi/AHCC supplements to help my body clear the virus out. When I first got it I was like "OOmmGG GENITAL WARTS HOLY FUCK MY asSSS is GOING TO LOOK LIKE BROCCOLI", but all I had was that tiny little bump. Honestly HPV is so common that like 8/10 sexually active adults come in contact with it at some point, so make sure you get vaccinated (Gardisil 9), and if you do end up contracting it, keep your diet healthy and get good sleep. HPV usually goes away on it's own in healthy adults.

You don't need to be vaccinated if you wait until you're 25+ to have sex (for the near-wizards on here lol)
Statistically by then the vast majority of the population will either be vaccinated or have already had hpv and passed it and the likelihood of you catching hpv is incredibly small if you are still a virgin at that point in your life.

Caught Chlamydia and HPV from a guy who agreed to be exclusive. After about six months we agreed not to use condoms since he couldn't stay hard with them on. Guess he wasn't using them with his fuck buddy either.

With Chlamydia I was pissing fire. I was out of the country at the time so had to go to a local doctor and pharmacist without insurance.

The HPV lasted about 5 years. Had the warts frozen off, burned off with acid and cut off.

Always use condoms boys and girls. It won't stop everything but it will help.

I got HPV from a one night stand with a mortician. (not that her profession really matters... she also told me her name was Sasha Grey... Like the porn star sooo you know)

Anyway, I never have unprotected sex, even with past girlfriends etc. I was drunk, she was drunk, but most of all I was lonely. Gut wrenchingly lonely.

Now there is also a chance I caught it from my current girlfriend because it was only when I was dating her and having unprotected sex with her, that I noticed them.

I am also trans and came out around the time I found out about the HPV. So it was a super stressful time in my life and still is, which lead to the warts spreading and returning despite cryo.

The never got very big. Like 2 mm or so at most. But I did get a few of them. At most I think I had like 8 at a time or less. I also have these lovely scars from where my family doctor burned me with his horrible technique. I later went to the sexual health clinic and the technique was better, removed the warts and less scaring.

my girlfriend also has HPV now, or did before as well. Her warts are different from mine though. Longer like little towers, while mine are flat/slightly raised and almost shiny.

I am wart free at the moment but stress is a trigger.

Advice if you think you have it get it looked at immediately. Also take the Vaccine because you can now anyway! Get cryo ASAP because they spread by contact/abrasion.

Shave sparingly as the razor will actual cut the top of the wart off spreading it. Buy a cheap electric razor/trimmer and use that instead. Keep the lowest guardsetting up and that will keep things far enough away from the skin.

perhaps best advice is dodge one night stands. But really just get the dam vaccine. HPV is the most common STI/STD and you WILL run into it if your sexually active.

I got HPV from a one night stand on my butt when i was 19.
it as only 3 tiny bumps but it was super embarrassing to go to the sti clinic to receive cryotherapy (I'm glad it was free though).
I think it took 2 months to clear up while receiving treatment.

That's when I stopped being slutty.
In hindsight I'm pretty lucky it wasn't something worse.

Only had sex with one person in my life and got HPV as well. It took me two years for them to finally clear out, but last week I noticed a small one when I shaved. Fml
