How do you guys feel about going Diy for about 2/3 months before seeing a doctor for serious Hormones? For $80 I can get 100 25mg Sprio Capsules and 86 1mg Estrofems. I figured with a low dosage, low exposure to substances that increase risk, and being in conditioning for XC there isn't too much risk.


I'm also going to get my haircut in a much more Girlyboy kinda way. It's hard to predict how much is the right amount without blood tests, generally I think trans girls will get on something like 200mg per day, but you may not want to go that far, depends on your goals. It's hard to tell if you'd have feminization or not, you'd probably be more susceptible to mild gynecomastia from phytoestrogens or something, but no certainty. Probably the most likely effect will be improving your skin a bit.

Sorry for not being "trans enough" then. However, I'm sure if even a cis dude fully masculinized in a year, basically going from age 13 (which pre-T ftms often resemble) to age 25, he'd freak out too. Hormone therapy for ftm is accelerated male puberty because the dosage of T is so high. I was blessed with androgynous features that allowed me to pass as a guy sometimes, especially throughout grade school and middle school, but if that was satisfying enough for me, I wouldn't be going on T. I want to slowly and steadily transition, more naturally along the progress of a cis boy. I'll certainly resemble a femboy along the way but that's not my end goal.

Birth control is not usually taken for this reason so the right dosages, possible side effects etc are unknown compared to the drugs usually used

For feminization you need something to block your testosterone, like cypro, spiro or finasteride + a source of estrogen (estrofem, progynova)

The earlier you start the better but many people have done well from after puberty to about 30 (provided your puberty didnt completely ruin you)

I just recently did my eyebrows for the first time and it surprised me how much more feminine it made my whole face seem. It wasn't much, but it was definitely more than I was expecting. that's not what happened though. we've just had less and less actual discussion in the thread and the group over the past weeks because:

1. the thread is now exclusively used for tranny shit and we stopped making new OPs and we want to distance ourselves from it and move to a site we can moderate but still attract new users.

2. i said that the people in the group who took hormones weren't cis by definition and a select few cried tumblr. recently zombo, who's been shitting on me ever since i said we're all not cis, comes out as trans but not transitioning, nonbinary, whatever it is, and everyone has a good "i told you so" laugh

3. then we all realized that the chat is dead because we've beaten the horse so much it's more of a rug by now. we'd probably jump ship if there were any groups we could easily assimilate into, but gaygen is too masc and mtfg is too fem, and other sites are really out of the question when it comes to 4chan ""humor"" etc.

i'm considering taking the group in a more radical direction, either by removing all inactive users and non-fems or migrating sites to something with content outside of discussion (rabbit, discord, etc).
