I passed without T and people always pitied me because I was square, had muscle, brow and a dominant jaw. I loved it on the inside because trans and It's a blessing now, but the bullying really messed me up. People treat ugly girls like they are worthless, and people back home still treat me like a failed woman and believes I am transitioning because I was too manly to pass as a woman. Yes! I have a little happy trail and used to have pretty thick arm hair that I hated because it wasn't normal and girly and no one would like me if I wasn't those things.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I hated the rest of my body too but it was a different kind of hate. And for a long time I actually kind of liked my boobs, even if they were gross because again - attention. I didn't have a good childhood at all and ended up love-starved. I liked my body the way a twelve year old likes memes - because enough other people responded positively to my desperate attention whoring for me to be happy. I knew somewhere that it made me uncomfortable and it wasn't me, and that people probably rolled their eyes and went "look at this disgusting memer" but I didn't care.

If you really are eating that little and still exercising your body may be in a sort of conservation mode, fucking with your hormones (not just sex hormones), slowing your metabolism. Honestly, anon, your post reads a lot like you already have some of that classic dysphoria+anorexia going on. Something to be aware of.

But anyway. if you're eating at a deficit for a while you will indeed stagnate. What helps is a cheat day (or a "refeeding day" if you want to stay clean). A brief period where you eat above maintenance. Then you go back to your deficit.

And their female equivalent will have even less muscle because, yes, T does give you more muscle mass just as a default.
You'll still have twig arms if you never lift or do a push up though, and really if you're on T it is the best time to be doing those things since you build muscle much more easily.

I'm slowly starting to run and train with weights, so maybe I'll be more satisfied with my body someday. But a slow start is necessary when your body is in a shit shape because you're been sitting for most of your life in front of a pc, my joints and muscles hate me.

She might recommend therapy before getting the script, which i cannot afford. Any tips to perceived sanity? Before working out, I developed very broad (in proportion to my frame) shoulders just from being on HRT. Seeing as my father has a broader build, I think it could have something to do with that? Of course, unless you're going for andro or twinky looks, I see no reason why you wouldn't want to do everything you can to get a decent physique. Even without excellent insurance, if you have a job, you at least have some measly obamacare, which should cover lab costs, just pay up the $200 endo office visit, tell them you are there to treat gender dysphoria, act knowledgeable about testosterone and it's effects, and be on your way with a script that day. Take it to Walgreen's with a pharmacy card you get at a dr office or online, and pay about $50 for vial and 25 needles and be set for like four months. Although you can say with certainty some changes will happen, the degree of those changes is very much dependant on the individual, with factors like age and genetics playing a big part in it.
