You're confusing sexual longings of being associated with symbols of emasculation, with wanting to be a girl. A pretty common emasculation fetish, albeit a pretty extreme one, where emotional attatchments will commonly be placed. Another common misconception is that you're "becoming what you love", when instead the fetish aims to make you "become what you fear".
