My observations of the few that I know IRL have been that most trannies, be they MtFs or FtMs, seem to gravitate towards cis ppl who are mostly bisexuals... either "true" bisexuals (close to 50/50) or straights or gays who are "flexible" (homoflexible or heteroflexible).

I think this is more the case with the older generations who started out trying to be "bull/butch" dykes before settling on being an FtM. I think younger generations get to the "I am trans" realization much quicker these days.

I don't agree with this. I think most FtMs (and MtFs... so basically all trannies) have been through so much shit with their sexuality and orientation, that they aren't too judgmental on others. Most of the "homophobia" that trannies get are from cis ppl... and that's mostly coming from other homos: ei, the "TruGays" and "TruLesbos" looking down on the trans ppl for somehow betraying their born gender. The homophobia coming form straight cis ppl is just the typical homophobia that other gays would get. OC, the "homophobia" in these cases would probably be better described as "transphobia."

this one other gay ftm I know is sorta transitioned? Like he's wearing a binder, sporting short ass hair but damn he's one fucked up basketcase.

He has autism and has an immensely difficult time making friends and often times posts on tumblr about how he's shut in his apartment and having huge anxiety attacks. I think he actually got accused or raping someone but I don't really know the details on that.
