Would you date a masc or feminine ftm guy?
>>7948760
Masc, but that's just my general preference.
t. fem twink
I would plow Oliver until harvest honestly
My therapist knows I'm a trans guy but constantly genders me as female, uses my wrong name, etc.. He even was talking about how I should go to college next year, brought up dorms and how I might feel comfortable in all-women's dorms.
Can you tell me his thinking on saying this?
I'm a very introverted person and I know I should speak my mind more but I often stay neutral just to avoid conflict. This really bothered me though; it was two weeks ago and I'm still thinking about it. I'm pre-t so I guess the real question is: how can I make people take me seriously? He clearly doesn't see me as a guy so not sure what I'm doing wrong.
>>7948013
Is this a gender therapist or general practicing therapist?
>>7948013
Get on t and get a new therapist...
He probably thinks you are not serious, you should at least talk to him about this first tho
>>7948017
General one, but we talk a lot about gender dysphoria and he's fairly open minded (or claims to be)
Does anyone have experience with starvation or low protein diets to lose muscle mass on their upper body?
What was your diet like?
Did you exercise while doing it?
Did it help to make you appear more feminine?
Made a thread because there are people beyond the MtF community that may be familiar with this.
>>7945295
You won't just lose it on your chest, it'll happen everywhere. C Bale ate only 1 apple and a can of tuna/ day to look like he did in the machinist.
The risks are significant for what you're trying to do to yourself. Take my advice and try to love the body you have instead of craving one you never will. Fuck me for saying that, right?
If weight loss is your goal a diet of primarily carbohydrates (rice, fruits, bread) and vegetables (plant fibre helps you feel full longer i.e. you feel the need to eat less often), secondarily fats (nuts, legumes, and animal fat), and protein tertiary combined with 30 minutes 3x/week of high intensity cardiovascular exercise will have you dropping weight in no time and you'll be the healthier for it.
Become a runner.
I have. I weighed 185 six months ago, now I'm at 150. I run 4 days/ week primarily, but I work out everything; good abs are essential for running, but you can surely get by with little else in the way of upper body stuff if you're trying to stay thin. Remember, low weight + high repetition is great for toning, so you can absolutely exercise your upper body without having to worry about getting to bulky.
In my diet is everything I stated before. I eat lots of rice, vegetables, beans, and fruit.
Just avoid processed foods really. Sucrose (refined sugar) is in all kinds of shit from peanut butter to milk; a fun size snickers bar can stall your weight loss for a week.
Low protein diets can lead to some real bad shit, and if you are trying to appear aesthetically more beautiful this isn't the way to go about it as changes in hair and skin texture are to be expected along with a feeling of weakness and a higher chance of getting sick because your body lacks the proteins to develop antibodies or other immunodefensive macrophages.
If I'm buying a horse I want the one that can run all day, not some sickly lookin' thing that can barely stand; healthy is pretty.

To be crystal clear, Christian Bale wanted to lose another 5 pounds, but the doctors said if he did he'd probably die.
Be. Careful. Anon

I feel I could manage very little in terms of food from a mental perspective, but as you say the physical side its hard to know ones limits.
I know why you say that but I really just can't love myself the way I am, that's why I'm considering this.
Problem is I'm not losing fat, as it stands I have very little fat on my body at all. But I'm an MtF and have a lot of male muscle. So I need to skip the proteins in order for that to deteriorate and that's what concerns me from a health perspective.
As for running, I've been running all my life and my legs are built very solidly. I actually like my legs, so I'm worried that if I did go on a low protein diet and did cardio at the same time then it would be my legs that would shrink not my upper body.
But would exercising the upper body help to induce atrophy or stall it?
Skin and hair will return to normal afterward though I'm sure.
Alright, it's a bit depressing to keep reading about people planning to kill themselves when they turn 30. Who the fuck here wants to live to old age, and has plans for what you want to do in life?
>Your age
>Your letter of LGBT
>Your plans in life
For me:
>25
>B
>Become a computer science professor

Get married to a sensational girl and start a family, maybe go back to college someday, i dunno

>Gay male
>Eventually become translator and/or foreign language professor
Plans are going ok, I'll be working abroad at a school soon.
I'd go for something like pic related. I'm already white and I've always wanted to be blonde and athletic.
The best part is that it doesn't matter how old am I when the technology is there so long as I'm alive. Even if I'm 90 they can make the body and transplant my brain and I'd be hot 20-something year old again with the potential to live forever.
>>7945040
>panties with Y-front
>>7945040
The problem with this plan is it doesn't account for your brain deteriorating, which is the leading reason people die of old age
>>7945100
Yeah, forget about heart disease or cancer,
the real problem is brain deterioration people!
Des /lgbt/ (mainly t) pee standing down or sitting up?
>>7944548
Daddy doesn't let me pee standing up
>>7944548
I haven't stood in months. Holy fuck for 3 seconds. I just wondered why "standed" was underlined...
>>7944548
If you have a toilet made for sitting, don't fucking stand.
Still wish I could, but not at a sit-down toilet, man.

Let's get serious, /tttt/!
This thread is for asking questions, giving advice and general discussion about name change.
• Name database with background info, statistics, ratings and comments: https://www.behindthename.com
• Another name database, very good to look up variations of a name: http://www.namepedia.org/en/firstname/
• Advice for choosing a new name: http://www.tsroadmap.com/reality/nameindex.html
Some questions for the choice of a new name to get the conversation going:
>What are names that should be avoided (e.g. Caitlyn)?
>What do you think about a feminization/masculinization of the former name (like: Leon/Leonie, Michael/Michelle, Dennis/Denise, etc.)?
>What about changing the second name, too?
>Which female or male names do you really like, which ones do you really dislike? Give some inspiration to mtfs and ftms.
It could be important to tell wheather you're mtf or ftm. Sometimes it would also be beneficial to know, where you are from since it may be important to know how common the names you are writing about are in your country.
>>7943187
Is it good to choose a unisex name? Why/why not?
If you already have a unisex name, is it good to keep it? Why/why not?
what do you think of the name "maeve"
My name is already French so Beatrice flows pretty well and I like it, though one of the links says mtf trans is saturated with French sounding names, apparently.
im depressed as fuck, give me some nice stories

Can you be homosexual and pro-right wing too?
>>7937111
Define right-wing.
all american politics is right-wing, essentially.
but yes, you can be a right-wing gay or tranny. for instance, states rights, federal overreach, immigration are all issues where its easy to have gender/sexuality be largely irrelevant. being a 2d one-party voter usually means you are a retard though.
>>7937133
Basically believing everything /pol/ says. I mean nazis want us to remain in the closet and act normal in public; but Muslims and other shit-skins would burn us alive in comparision.

Does anyone have any experience with going to a mental institution while being lgbt? I'm specifically looking for trans experiences but anyone is welcome to share. Will they take away hormones if they find you depressed or something similar?
Yes they will take away your hormones.
They will strip away many of your rights for good.
You will get saddled with a ridiculous hospital bill.
>>7933124
>for good.
Until you're released, surely?
It'd be nice to get some qt selfies up in here uwu
FAQ
>What is a fem?
An androgynous male with feminine and soft features. Most are gay.
>Are fem guys trans?
Some inevitably turn out trans. Some age into twunkhood and continue slutting it up on Grindr well past their mid twenties.
>Can I be a fem?
It's possible. Masculine bone structure, height, and aging make it hard.
>Should I go on HRT?
You'll look younger longer and you won't age like a man. There's more info in the pastebin.
>Is liking fems considered gay or straight?
Gay. If you're on the fence, you're bi, like a lot of people.
