How do I make it through the next year without killing myself? I hate being trans so fucking much, having to go out into the world everyday and interacting with people as a dude feels so fucking draining and it's only getting harder and harder to do so. This is going to be my reality for the next year at least and I already feel like it's becoming too much to handle.
I don't even know why I am transitioning anymore, my mind feels so poisoned by Blanchard's stupid fucking typology that I can't even honestly look at myself anymore and assess who I am / my reasons for transitioning without being clouded in doubt and shame for potentially having this disgustingly twisted narcissistic sexual orientation towards the idea of myself being a woman in a sexual context.
Transitioning / being transgender seems like the ultimate exercise in futility, the cruelest joke you could ever be endowed with. Even if I ever manage to finish transitioning and pass I'll still have to live with the idea of every motivation for my transition being rooted in a sexual orientation, whats the point of living if everything you so desperately strive to achieve is rooted in a sexual orientation towards yourself? How do I have meaningful relationships if they are ultimately according to Blanchard just accessories to my own orientation?

Maybe you aren't actually trans and really just have an eye for men's fashion/mannerisms. just be who you are. As a guy i tend to dress in a way that is most comfortable. Dont think about how you can immasculate your attire. When youre comfortable youre confident. In high school i used to hate myself and think i was fat because my pants made it uncomfortable to sit down. my stomach would bulge. I was 5'11" and only 160lbs and i thought i was fat....i realized i was just wearing pants that were too tight in general. after that i always gravitated toward clothing that was more comfortable(sweatpants, athletic shorts, xl sizes. when you put yourself around people who care more about what you have to say rather than the image your fashion portrays, life gets a lot easier. fashion becomes one less thing to worry about.

Does anyone here have experience as an MtF who went on hormones for a couple years and then went off of them?
I do like what they did for me, but the loss of penis size is effecting me negatively too much. I lost around an inch in size and I'm worried about losing even more. I had no desire to get SRS and wanted to be able to keep what I had down there while feminizing the rest of my body.
If I was to go off hormones, would it go back to normal for me with enough time?
It'll suck to lose all the positive changes I've experienced but I feel like I might be better off feminizing myself through other means while just trying to cope with having testosterone as the dominant hormone in my body.
If I can't get back what I lost I might just want to kill myself.

I've been on hormones for over six years with my testosterone levels below the cis female range and I'm still at 6 inches just like when I started. Could also just be due to me not being that well endowed to begin with.

The thing is, most of the time I don't even want to use it. I have to force myself to, which is like some monkey's paw shit because one of the things I wanted to get away from with testosterone is the urge to masturbate. However, now I HAVE to masturbate and on top of it I almost never want to. I force myself to, but sometimes I go a week or more without doing anything.
Mine was like, 7.5" bone-pressed before and now it's 6.5" bone-pressed, and if you don't count the fat pad then it's down to only 6" from 7".
I don't feel like HRT changed the rest of my body enough to warrant such a trade-off. For me the benefits of HRT have been mental and psychological mostly, if you exclude the dysphoria that has come from have my genitalia diminished. I didn't like the lost of testicular size but that was something I could cope with since it's not really all that important sexually, but the penis size is something that I'm really struggling with and something that routinely gets me feeling suicidal, though it's not the only thing that puts me in that state of mind.
Feels like no matter what I try to do I end up having body image issues, and I know some things are just outright impossible to change. I'd just like to be able to get back what I lost.

I really don't know what to do, which is why a nice sturdy rope around my neck feels like the only solution. At least that's pretty much guaranteed to work out how I expect it to.

Every time I get close to just transitioning I'll scare myself deep back into the closet. I'll do something like go to r/transpassing or r/transtimelines and look for people that don't pass and convince myself I wouldn't either and that I'm better off being depressed than being depressed and looking like a monster. What the fuck is wrong with me?
