This has been on my mind lately. I'm full-time and passing but I'm still getting hit with the same waves of dysphoria that come and go. I'm so tired of not knowing whether tomorrow will be a good day or if I'm going to put up with it eating away at me all day long.
A long time ago I heard that "dysphoria never goes away, it just goes down" and it's true. I can't afford SRS and I'm not sure when that will ever happen if. But with each passing week I feel more disgust, discomfort, and shame about my genitals when I used to just consider them an inconvenience.
The best I've got for you OP is doing stuff that holds your attention or grooming to make yourself look/feel better.

So I'd like to have a discussion thread different from the usual drivel that's posted here (might be wrong, but that's why I left this shit board over more than a year ago).
It shouldn't be of any surprise to anyone who was raised on heteronormative dating standards that gay dating is cancerous as fuck. With the introduction and popularity of apps and sites like Grindr and Adam4Adam, gay """"dating"""" keeps on perpetuating the decades-old stereotype that gays (and by extension, men in general through MSM category) are a bunch of sex-crazed sluts just looking to score the next s u c c or f u c c. At this point, all """dating""" mediums are just another hook up platform. This wasn't a surprise to me when I first started dating men. What was the problem, as much as I hoped different, was that other men confirmed by existing bias. But in reality what cemented it was knowing the lengths guys would go for sex.. so much that I've had 3 guys try (and one actually did) illegal/shady as fuck means to get what they wanted.
So what is dating like for lesbians and trans? Is your scene as fucked as ours?
Bisexuals need not apply. I genuinely never hear many bad stories in your respective scene, aside from trans having creepy chasers and all.

It's hard for me to tap into those feelings now, but I remember it being really bad. I found a "journal" entry I wrote at some point during high school, complete with faggy self pity and teenage purple prose, and I figured it could be my contribution:

I'm an ftm but as a "girl" I fell in love with a female friend of mine and was obsessive about her for like...6 years or so. I don't recall writing anything but some very vague poetry about it, and doing alot of abstract drawings to express my gay angst. We would sleep over at eachothers houses alot and I always arranged things so we would end up sharing a bed, and then I would stay awake hoverhanding her shoulder for hours. Years later, as adults, after I had grown out of this crush, we were hanging out and she pulled a shoebox out from under her bed and opened it and she had kept every single drawing and note I had ever given to her. Muh fucking heart.

Is there any way to get rid of the 5 o'clock shadow that is not with pills or laser?
The only part of my beard I can grow is the moustache, and every time I shave, I have a ugly shadow under my nose that makes me look really ugly and old. And I'm only 23.
I tried waxing it off, but the shadow appears again after a few days. (But I didn't have to shave in weeks, that's a plus)

If you wear heavy enough foundation you can cover it up. Im talking like heavily caked on KVD foundation that would make even the most hardcore drag queen faint. That said there are quite a few drag queens that hace tutorials for covering beard shadow on youtube if you search.
