• "being trans" is not a measurable state, but having the symptoms of gender dysphoria is
• transitioning (or taking any steps thereof) isn't recognized as a sacred rite to give people their rightful bodies and social roles but to relieve mental and physical discomfort in anyone who has them, despite their age, history or the cause of the dysphoria
• dysphoria isn't a binary state, it's possible and valid to only be dysphoric about certain things and not about others
• partial transition f.ex. hrt without social change or never getting SRS is a WPATH-approved way of treating dysphoria in those who can't or *don't want to* go further
• a*p alone isn't a reason to not transition; the majority of transitioned transwomen are agp (before transitioning at least)

any contrary opinions are mostly ignorance, malice or headcanon

I'd say these are accurate, but #2 is transient. It's currently that way, where it's not recognized as a sacred rite, but likely will not remain that way.

#1 is technically true, although it becomes MUCH easier to discuss for most of us when it does involve dysphoria, and there definitely needs to be some kind of breakdown (if for no other reason than treatment needs) between the two.
