are you sure you're not just mistaking being tall with being larger? most young transitioners look normal to me for their height if they end up tall and same if they don't.

the important thing is what estrogens you take, and estrodiol is the must have, the question is how you wanna take it. transdermal patches, injections, oral, sublingual, etc. - basically a matter of preference.

and then you'll want an anti-androgen, which, again, basically just comes down to preference and availability in your region. if you're in most places in the US it'll be oral spiro.

then you can supplement these things with additional types of estrogens, but the efficacy of these things is questionable and rarely necessary for good results. worry about that a year down the line if things aren't moving along quick enough despite good levels.

I think I did okay-ish all things given. I actually always had friends I think I just felt more disconnected from the world entirely though. I don't really feel like the friendships I made in high school and before were all that strong or anything.
I think that whole disconnect also is the reason why I never attempted dating. I'm kind of surprised so many trans people can have successful relationships and even have kids. Besides the fact that I was regularly shoving dildos in my butt which also made me confused for straight/gay stuff that weird disconnect I always feel made me almost certain if I attempted a relationship it would implode anyway even though I had no idea why I felt that way. I still kind of have those feelings.

I let a lot of my friendships intentionally go to shit because there was always a weird feeling that things wouldn't work anyway. Gender ident issues in childhood can mask as failure to adjust. Success in sociality requires some level of congruence with natal sex.

select "Sedentary" as your Activity level (so that any exercise you do is a bonus)
buy a calculator and a cheap food scale and eat the amount of calories that it tells you in order lose 1 lb a week and don't try and push yourself to do anything less than that because you will just feel like you are starving and you will fail, and even if you magically succeed you will have lost weight so fast that your skin and organs and shit will not have been able to keep up and you will look and feel like garbage.
after about a month your stomach will have started to shrink and it will be easier to eat less, then you can start pushing yourself a little harder
every time you lose about 5 lbs, put your new weight in and your calories will lower and you will struggle to figure out how to eat less, but keep it up. you will also start to realize that junk/pre-made food that is high in calories does not actually fill you up and eating it makes keeping under your calories extremely difficult.
do about 10-20 mins of some kind of exercise every single day, climb stairs, walk, run, weight lift, sit-ups, jumping jacks.. do whatever you want but do it hard enough to make yourself sweat by the end of it and do a little more (more stairs, walk farther, lift more, more situps.. etc) so that you keep sweating and never get comfortable with it. you should hate it every single time and feel proud of yourself for doing it after you're done.

it's not that hard to lose weight, it just takes patience.

I did everything I just told you and lost 60 lbs in 6 months.

Unless you're actually legit ready to come out and you think people will be accepting. But the whole thing with the idea of coming out to get HRT to show you're serious is that they're completely forgetting that trans-acceptance really just isn't all that great.
