I've never understood the idea of pride either, being MtF isn't something to be "uwu proud" of.

Its an important part of your identity. I don't think people realize how often straight people broadcast their sexuality to the world, obsess over it, etc because its the default. I work a construction job, and 90% of what these dudes talk about is women. The idea that for some reason gay people need to be less open than straight people about their sexual preferences is homophobia, and unfortunately I think a lot of gay people, myself included, have internalized this.
