I'm closet bi, pretty easy to hide since friends and family have seen me with girls so they just assume I'm straight. I have hairy Scottish genetics so I frequently trim (but not shave) armpits and chest since I like to wear singlets a lot (I live in Australia, its usually hot af). I've only gotten with guys that aren't directly linked to any friends or anything.

Hey /lgbt/,

Straight guy here, serious question. Long story first: I run into an old friend from my neighborhood online a couple weeks ago, and he mentioned he was going to be coming to where I live (Chicago) for business, and suggested we hang out. I agreed and we talked a bit more and he mentioned that he had come out, and that he was gay. I was surprised, but to each their own. We set a day to meet for lunch and signed off.

Come the day we meet, I see him and he's lost a bunch of weight (we were the pudgy kids) and he was wearing really tight clothes and was definitely Mr. Fashionable. But the thing that struck me is that he spoke like Snagglepuss on the Hanna Barberra cartoons. And I mean EXACTLY like Snagglepuss. When I last saw him (Maybe 5 years ago at most), he just had a regular midwestern accent, just no affectation at all (we grew up outside of Minneapolis), but the way he was talking, it took all my will not to burst out laughing. It was basically everything short of "Heavens to Mergatroid!" and hands flapping everywhere.

My question is this: Where did that come from? Is it an affectation that people pick up in certain subgroups or does it come naturally? I've known a ton of gay men who talk without "the accent" (for lack of a known better name), but it does seem to be fairly prevalent.

hi fellow legbutts. I'm looking for a song that i saw about six months ago on youtube. The video clip is animated and its about a red haired girl that loves her black friend, but the black girl has a sort of abusive boyfriend. The redhair takes her friend to a party, riding a red car (where she puts her friends lipstick on), where they find her bf. He is being a dick so the redhair takes to twitter and basically says he has a small dick. He gets mad and attackes her but she grabs her friend and they flee on a motorbike. They basically become a couple at the end i think. The art style is pretty unique and the raid haired girl seems like she's crying most of the video. I think she keeps repeating the black girl's name in the song. Can you help me?

So, I'm an MtF who is pre-everything, for the most part. I did start shaving and using skin products, as well as dieting and exercising to lose some unwanted weight. I really want to go on hormones ASAP but there are a few things holding me back, and I just need to vent about them.

For starters, I was dating this guy before I decided to come out, and when I did, things got...weird.

You see, he's the clingy type, and rather than trying to leave and move on, he insists that I put off hormones to "make sure" that this is what I wanted.

No matter how many fucking times I tell him about all the thought I put into it, all the research, asking questions on the net, and making ABSOLUTELY SURE that this is what I wanted before I even came out to him, he doesn't seem to care or listen.

It sucks that I actually care about what he thinks, because if I didn't I'd drop him like a flamboyant hot potato.

Other than that, I also have daddy issues, and I have to rely on my parents' housing to get through college. But that's self-explanatory.

So legbutts, what's holding you back? Doesn't have to be related to transitioning, more like what's holding you back from your true potential, or happiness?

What's a normal price for laser hair removal on face? I checked a local place and it's 39€ per session, 17€ with offer (just purchasing more than 2 sessions). I asked a bit on generals and it seems to be alright, but when I google what average prices are it says shit like 2000$ total so 200+ per session and I don't even know anymore cause maybe 39 per session is too cheap and a scam or something.
I checked it's not IPL, it's alexandrite laser, afaik there's not much difference between that and diode.
Also, it specifically says 39€ per session beard, but on the offers page it says 17€ per session facial zone. I assume that beard and facial zone are the same, which is full beard. Is this assuming too much?
