I met my husband in a shitty aol chatroom 14 years ago. We're essentially Al and Peg Bundy but gaymen. He works a dead end job and I laze around the house and spend his money, but instead of kids we have a gaggle of cats. It's pretty great 2bh.

Bumped into my wife while going to college. Turned out she lived in the same boarding house that my dad's friends did. Was hanging out with another girl, but she got a bf and I was alone again, so I decided to ask my future wife out since we liked the same things.

Discovered my sexuality with her, decided to just consider myself bi and be happy. We had a mutual gf as well, but she went to do her own thing after about a year.

3 years into marriage now, each day better than the last.

The word came about through people wanting to represent their lack of preference for anyone of a particular gender or body type, I think. You often hear people who identify as pansexual talk about how indifferent they are to physical sex or gender when it comes to choosing a partner.

The thing is, they then started ascribing extra definition to the term bisexual, like saying that bisexual means you only like 100% men and 100% women and nothing inbetween, regardless of whether or not that is actually true of people who identify as bisexual. They also say things like "Bisexuals like men and women but pansexuals don't care one way or another" which if you think about it is really just attempting to reword it to make pansexuals sound more different than they actually are.

I firmly believe that any differences between pansexuals and bisexuals have been invented by pansexuals as an attempt to distance themselves from bisexuals and legitimize themselves.

Am I missing something? I just don't think her transition is that significant from an lgbt perspective 2bh - it's probably more interesting to ask if she's still a worth while speedrunner, but that doesn't belong here.
