How do you LGBT NEETs spend your free time? I was never bothered by social isolation until I got on hormones and now I do. I don't mind being alone but it bothers me much more now that I don't have any friends or a bf to go out with and that I have to wait yet another year to try to get into college.
So what are some time-tested principles you live by helping you not lose your mind?

>How do you LGBT NEETs spend your free time?
I read or work on personal projects.
Taking up some independent study will certainly keep your mind occupied. Learn a new language?
>I don't mind being alone
This is how I feel, although I thrive on it. Being out in public - or just socializing with a small group of people - completely drains me. So I never actually get lonely.
what is /lgbt/s opinion on traps?
Cute passable traps are rare gems.
Goysexual was an annoying edgelord.

to answer ur question tho i love them
Same-sex unions are treated as de facto unions under the Australian federal law, though each Australian state and territory is entitled to create their own laws with respect to same-sex relationship registers and same-sex partnership schemes. Same-sex couples are prevented from marrying by the definition of marriage contained within the federal Marriage Act (1961), as amended in 2004 by the Howard Government.
As of 2015, 16 attempts have been made to amend the Marriage Act so as to legalise same-sex marriage, all of which have been unsuccessful. In December 2013 the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) briefly legalised same-sex marriage at a territory-based level, though the Federal Government launched a challenge in the High Court and the ACT legislation was struck down on the basis that laws with respect to marriage were a constitutionally exclusive power of the Commonwealth. The current policy of the Coalition Government is to conduct a national plebiscite on the issue in 2016, following this year's federal election. The opposition Labor Party supports same-sex marriage in its national platform (though allows its parliamentary members a conscience vote on same-sex marriage legislation until 2019) and current party leader Bill Shorten has pledged to introduce a Marriage Equality Bill in the parliament within 100 days of taking office if elected to government at the next election.
1/3 Austrialians are homophobic making them a minority. My question is why is this even an issue given those statistics, one of the last issues to complete equality in Australia and penny wong of SA is against the idea of a plebiscite stating homophobia before there's even a vote
Population statistics aren't always accurate (duh), but even if it was, There may still be people indifferent to the situation, the stats may also include people under the proper voting age, and government does not always equally represent the populous.
It would be great if they finally were able to get a bill passed, and with more countries being accepting of gays, it may happen soon, but we will have to wait and see.
It never got through because Rudd was a fucking arsehole and Gillard had to appease the right. Same sex marriage is extremely unlikely to happen under a Coalition (Right wing parties) government.
People oppose the plebicide because it is non-binding, which means the Coalition can drag their feet on implementing it if the plebicide got a majority yes. If somehow the plebicide got a no result then the Coalition could go "oh well lets not revisit the issue for the next hundred years". Having a plebicide even if it was binding is rediculous as it is obvious a vast majority of the country.
Unfortunately same sex marriage isn't a major voting issue, a lot of people aren't willing to put it high on their list of things to vote people for. In some ways I dont blame them considering how garbage the last few Labor governments were and this is coming from a person who votes Greens regularly. I just hope Shorten gets in, he won't be the best prime minister but I think he could do some good stuff.

So what is his opinion about trans issues, fellow legbutts?
I have heard very different statements about this.
>>6437100
>So what is his opinion about trans issues, fellow legbutts?
Has never said anything negative. The only one he's commented on was the bathroom issue that was being used to distract us from the nuclear spills in Florida. He thinks people should use whatever bathroom matches their gender Identity.

From who and what were they? Any sauce to back up any of them?
>>6437100
He did go on the record to say that HB2 is a waste of money and time. He's actually kind of indifferent about trans people. Neither supportive nor against.
He said to "leave it up to the states."
Anyone who has followed politics for longer than this cycle, especially Queer politics, knows exactly what this means. Hint: it isn't good.
Can someone explain to me how everything about non-binary genders isn't just reinforcing gender roles and stereotypes? I've always understood it that sex = the genitals you have, and gender = the genitals you're comfortable having, and this minimalist definition has mostly been supported by the world at large in the effort to uncouple gender from other things (e.g. girls playing with dolls, liking to cook, guys being violent). How then, is going 'I like having short hair, wearing masculine clothes, and the color pink, so I'm intergender' not completely contrary to all of that? Why are people making all these new labels for themselves instead of going 'I like all these non-traditional things, but that's okay because my gender doesn't define who I am or restrict what I can like'?
Sorry if any part of this comes off as hostile or aggressive. I'm just really trying to understand what's going on here.
Bumping for interest

My understanding is that real nb people either have dysphoria that switches on and off or want to be some form of intersex
>>6437092
Namely case the main examples are twinky femboys and others using estrogen to make their bodies even more androgynous.
Gender roles have nothing to do with that. Lots of them talk about acting masculine, liking guy stuff right down to some of them keeping a bunch of knives and guns and knowin how to use them.

I'm starting to believe Omar wasn't religious at all.
Based off what I've seen, he wasn't that religious, and stated he was a member of both Hezbollah, Al-Qaeda, and ISIS. All three groups hate each other and fighting each other, Hezbollah is Shia and Al-Qaeda and ISIS are Sunni. He was just saying that to be an edge lord like /pol/tards calling themselves "Nazis" on the internet.
I had considered an angle like this, but some of these people being interviewed hardly seem credible. It's a national headline, so I'm sure numerous people are going to claim to have known Omar only to get their 15 minutes of fame.
>>6437009
>I'm starting to believe Omar wasn't religious at all.
People interviewed also claimed he was touchy about the subject of religion, and that he pulled a knife on another guy for making comments that could be perceived as rude. (toward religion)
Despite /pol/'s attempts to ascribe some kind of "liberal media" cover up of Omar's religion, those interviews have been covered by a number of news sources, as well as the fact that Omar sword allegiance to terrorist groups.
I'm sure religion played a role in it, but I don't think he was actually involved with any known terrorist groups. The FBI hasn't uncovered any evidence to support this. It seems more likely to me that he was brought up on fundamentalist values, and was extremely conflicted with his sexual orientation as a result.
Can someone explain the me why the LGBT crew has to be so sexualized?
What I mean by this is run around in full BDSM gear for pride parade's and shit like that
All it does is hurt your cause
>>6436828
no clue why anon, I hate it too
Because if we all went in uniforms people would fear us.
It's not quite the time for that yet.
Soon.
it started with the straight majority trying to say "ok you can be gay but you just cant show any sign of being sexual, and dont worry we are still going to beat and kill you all the time." so the fags of old were like "lol fuck off if your still gonna kill us we just gonna shove our faggotry down your throat just to spite you."
my theory for modern day is that the dirty/ niche sexual part is the only part keeping the community from being assimulated into normal straight culture
I've been having a lot of issues with my voice lately. I really want to sound more feminine, but I haven't really had any luck with perfecting my falsetto. Even though I've been working on it actively, I kind of want to make the jump of going the digital route with things, at least for streaming for now. I've been messing with MorphVox Pro and Voice Changer Software Diamond 8.0 lately but I haven't had much luck with them. All they seem to do is pitch shift and I can't seem to find a way to yield anything remotely convincing using them. Does anyone know of any of the better voice changers, or at least have any tips on voice changers?
>>6436475
perhaps you should kill yourself and then hope in the next life you dont have a mental illness
>>6436475
i've heard voice training works wonders OP, you should try that
>>6436475
I don't think working on falsetto is the way to get a natural sounding feminine voice; try raising your larynx, keeping the vibration in your head and throat rather than your chest, and getting your normal voice to a higher pitch rather than going to falsetto.

I think I might have some latent homosexuality, but how important do you guys think it is to explore that side of myself? Sometimes it feels like I could live without actually fucking dudes, but then a part of me is also kind of scared that it might come back to haunt me later in life.
So find an erect penis and suck it.
It's the only way to know for sure.
I'm not even kidding.
>>6435024
Yeah yeah I know that, but I do you think its even important to know for sure?
>>6435049
Sure, why not.
It only matters if you think it does; some people never question this stuff at all - you evidently, lingeringly still do. Why are you looking for permission or validation? You already know the answer.
Find a friendly penis, try it, see how you feel the next day. That's the only real test. You don't have to make a big deal about it.
This makes me so happy. Has there been any big controversy over this yet? It's funny to think about all the homophobic bigots that would boycott youtube or something. A definite win for equality in my opinion. I wish facebook would do the same, that would REALLY fucking make a controversy.

I haven't cuddled or fucked since late 2013. I'm a straight guy, but my willpower is running dry.
Would I have more success looking for a regular gf or getting a male partner and convince him to crossdress for love making and going out (if it wasn't just sex)?
I was going to reinstall PoF, but I thought I might be barking to the wrong tree/
>inb4 no homo
Call me whatever you deem suitable; I don't care about labels. I care about cuddling and sometimes about fucking.
Please, any input will be appreciated.
Hit up the t4m section on craigslist and report back here after you've been serviced.

Finding a bf who passes is tremendously more difficult than just getting a gf. On top of that, you would probably end up not enjoying it if you're straight. Leave the traps to the people who fully appreciate them, because it really isn't worth it otherwise.
>Last month, transgender male boxer Patricio “El Cacahuate” Manuel, formerly the highly decorated amateur female boxer Patricia Manuel, finally got the chance to officially compete against a male opponent. He fought in the annual Teamsters Cinco de Mayo show in El Monte in the lightweight amateur men's division against fellow amateur Adan Ochoa — and won in a three-round decision.

Transman are still typically weaker than men, just as transwomen are typically stronger than women. Not by a lot though.
there's a reason ftm pasas way better than mtf, testosterone makes a lot of physical changes, permanent changes, women don't channge much During puberty, yes, they get the period, bigger hips, boobs, etc. But the face, physic, etc. Change a lot less than in males, a ftm taking this not much different than a young boy entering in puberty.
Anyone here ever partaken in an orgy? Or have any stories of anyone who has?
>>6432678
I fortunately haven't and hope that never changes. Orgies are degeneracy of the highest order.
>>6432851
So?
>>6432874
They don't seem like a lot of fun, either. I can't imagine sex being very exciting when it's happening everywhere all around you. It's probably better as a more personal and private activity.
