Eh, if most people use it, it feels offensive. Tbqh, it's just like any other "offensive word". If a black man calls another black man "my bigger", that's socially acceptable. If a white man does it, it's not.

If a fellow tranny calls me a tranny, I'll be cool with it. It's not my personal choice of wording but it works. If a stranger calls me a tranny, I'm more inclined to assume they think of me as like, the TV transsexual, where my life is the butt of a joke and they aren't taking me seriously.
