Hello, pls no bully if I'm in the wrong thread or my format is incorrect! I was wondering if I could get any help on exercising and what muscles/ muscle groups to target and which to neglect to give the appearance of a male figure. I really want my boyfriend to feel comfortable in his body even though he may not be able to get top surgery or ever take test since he wants kids way later in life. I'd rather not post his body but hes got some curve and pretty feminine legs and glutes, but otherwise his body seems pretty apt to emulate a male physique. Is there any way to proportion his body in a way as to give off a manly aesthetic, heavily targeting some areas while neglecting/lightly toning the others? I know MTF do this to help sculpt their body and it often times works very well. I'm just very curious as there are many female bodybuilder examples that look distinctly male without even directly trying to achieve that standard. I'd say his body is closest to a mesomorph (wide but fat; he is easier bigger than me width-wise despite me being male, at around ~5'11, 6') even if he's ~5'10, 5'11. Pic related are references (sorry for the pixelation)

This is something which he'll have to consider for himself and discuss with you, but it may not be possible for him to cope with not being on testosterone for so long. Is he sure he can even deal with the experience of being pregnant, as a man? How much is he willing to let his body change for the worse and how long is he willing to continue to be perceived as female by others?

There are options for storing gametes so he doesn't have to preserve his own fertility, though that presents problems with finding a suitable/willing surrogate parent, or with going off testosterone (and the damaged caused by being on it) if he were to carry it himself. There are sacrifices to be made in some areas no matter what; it's up to him to chose what he values most, and importantly, to look into this thoroughly.

I want to just say to get on testosterone as soon as you can store gametes so you don't let your body be fucked up, and worry about the difficulties that presents later, because it's the most important thing and it's not a terrible approach (even though it is suboptimal) as far as having children in the future goes, but that's a biased viewpoint.

As far as I know there are ways to exercise to attain a somewhat masculine physique, but ultimately you're at the behest of hormones, and will never be able to obtain a truly masculine physique (or just male levels of muscle) with male testosterone levels.

I'd say no, but to be fair the few bicycles(term I have coined) that I know I barely talk to or at am not close enough friends with to be able to tell. sigh
