Do they even happen?
Has that ever been a thing in the entire history of the armed forces using parachutes?
Yes?
How do you think they got spies into Europe in WWII?
>>35194651
probably, sound very inefficient though
>>35194651
Nut to butt.
Or if female, ham to clam.

MI6 basically ran the spy element of the war, most of their agenst were double agents, in fact some of the high up german spy masters were British agents. The fuckery is very complex but it was absolute; fake bombings and fake ship sinkings and the like.
When they actually needed to parachute people in they were usually commandos and so in groups.
>>35195830
Except when they did parachute in lone agents
>>35195921
Extremely rarely
>>35195945
read the op and stop being such a fag
grandpa on my mother's side parachuted alone (well other people in the plane were dropped at different places). Wouldn't say much more than that because it was classified

>>35196582
Delta does singleton missions.
>>35194651
yea , but not of fucking huge ass cargo plane
>>35196659
Yes, but usually they're dropped into a rebel-infested area, meet up with the rebels and train/direct them. They don't go solo against hostile forces intentionally.
>>35196716
You are mixing up Delta and Special Forces.
Delta does go solo against hostile forces intentionally. Its uncommon and is reserved for the absolutely most experienced operators in the squadron. Read Kill Bin Laden.
>>35194651
Only if it's a big guy or a MOAB-tier buttslam.

>Green Beret
Snake was CIA with a US Army Special Forces background by the time MGS3 happened.

>Most of the agents the CIA infiltrated into the USSR were dropped by parachute using a small fleet of unmarked C-47 and C-54 “black” transport aircraft secretly loaned to the CIA by the U.S. Air Force. The first CIA agent parachute drop behind the Iron Curtain took place on the night of September 5, 1949, when an unmarked CIA C-47 transport aircraft based in West Germany dropped a two-man team of agents into the Ukraine near the city of L’vov. Over the next five years, unmarked Agency transport aircraft conducted at least two dozen additional clandestine overflights dropping CIA agents deep inside the Soviet Union, with the last known missions being flown on the night of May 6-7, 1954 to drop agents into Estonia.

the inverse of the clandestine insertion would probably be the way they got people out of places, pic related
