They are certainly the most based as far as badassery and looks. boomer submarines are nearly untouchable, but also they just sit there unless its WW3. Fighters are used every day.

MANPADS are NOT a threat to modern jet aircraft.

They can bully transport helicopters and low flying slow aircraft like a cargo plane.

If your average MANPADS virgin can even SEE a chad fighter jet it isn't like he could get anything resembling a lock before the jet is out of range.

MANPADS are a harassment and denial weapon for rear action against logistical support. They are not a counter to jet aircraft or strategic bombers.
