I'm trying to find a gun that is made from 1880-1960 and doesn't commonly come to mind quite like a Garand or Nugget. What does /k/ suggest?

Aside from what's already been mentioned, Hakim, Spanish FR-8 (i want one, and they're hard to find but cheap when you do), vz 52 if you hate yourself. There's more I can' think of right now, great-great grandparents brought it with them when they came to America from what was then the Russian Empire, what is today Poland
Also I own a Vetterli like the one in your pic

K-31
>Accurate
>Surplus ammo is great quality
>Rare straight pull bolt
>Looks cool

K31 is really neat in the way it operates and most are capable of astonishing accuracy given surplus ball and a competent shooter.

My LGS has an Iver Johnson Champion 12 gauge on sale for $50 bucks if you're interested. It's in cosmetically rough shape, but works fine, and with some TLC could be restored to look real nice.

What is this?
I need a name so i can fap
>>35190192
Honestly when it comes to that specific time frame I find French weapons the nicest. They're just so clunky looking most of the time I love it. Except for the MAS-36, I think it's the nicest looking rifle from it's simple look. Some consider it ugly however.
I'd be biased on this however since I'm pretty biased towards Franco-Belgian topics during this period of History. It's so damn interesting.

Hi Ian!
>>35193710
Can't be him. He never said "frankly"
>>35193446
Its the same as what he linked to,. A Spanish FR8 mauser.
>>35193784
and the rifle isn't a Berthier.
I recently had a weird dream related to Ian and his french guns
>Larry Vickers was shooting with Ian's french guns before breaking them in 3, smashing them on the ground, one after another
>Ian was crying and sobbing, asking "why would you do this?" repeatedly
>in the end Larry left without a single word, leaving behind him a small mountain of old horribly broken french rifles
>still sobbing Ian began to dig in the pile, his hands shaking
>when he finally found his Berthier M16 he hugged the carbine, seemingly relieved, then he just said
>"aaaah, ma petite Berthier"
>and then an accordion started to play
what is the meaning of this ?

Ian is a MAS fanboy first and foremost. He used to own a MAS 36 like in that PIC, and he bought a MAS 38 SMG like six months ago.
Seriously, step up your Ian-stalking game, fampai.
>I bet you don't even know what colour his... socks... are today.
Belgian 89/36 mauser carbine

I love this rifle as well, it's brutally simple and has a spike bayonet housed inside the rifle, what more could you want?
Belgian 1889. The first of the smokeless Mausers.

If those are yours, then you have excellent taste.
>>35197678
I wish they were
Argentine Mauser's are pretty great and easy to load for. I'm partial to the 1891 model.
Lee-Metford's are pretty cool little rifles. It's basically a prototype Lee-Enfield so it's just as fun to shoot, and it's still chambered in .303 British so finding ammo won't be a huge pain in the ass.

>>under barrel tube for oz of weed
