I'd keep the SKS for sure. It's a neat and practical rifle.
You have a lot of shotguns, I presume the testator is a fudd. I'd research the SxS before doing anything with it. Could be a multi-generational hand me down. The 870 I'd probably sell because it looks like a cheap modern Cerberus made gun. The Mossberg I'd probably keep if you want a good beater for field use.
Marlin mod. 60 I'd keep. never hurts to have a .22 rifle and it isn't worth much re-selling.
Muzzle loaders, I'd keep one if you intend to hunt and there is a season or game animal that requires their use. Generally they are a pain in the dick.
The 740 depends. It's a neat hunting rifle but really nothing more. If it's in a common enough caliber like .30-06 it might be worth keeping.
I don't know what model the bolt-action is. Perhaps an older Savage 110? In any case it'd depend on caliber. If it's common enough you may as well keep it. If it fires some wonky cartridge that's tough to get you may as well sell it unless you really like the idea of hunting with that particular cartridge.

Of the bunch if I could only keep 3 it would be the SKS, Mossberg and Marlin 60 in that order, although the bolt-action or SxS could jockey for a slot depending on their details and history.

7.62x39 is one of the (many) things that undermines the "versatility" of the gun IMO. It's a great round, but there aren't many different load options. You can't load it to be fur friendly, you can't load it heavy for moose, trajectory is...

It's a second-line commie blaster. Not even hating, I literally bought my 3rd SKS on Tuesday. They're great plinkers and tough as nails. OP would probably get more out of the Marlin 60 and the Savage bolt gun though. Also, everyone should have a nice sxs in their life.
