It comes in at about the same weight as the Polymer. I can't really speak on the magnesium lowers. I have no knowledge on them.
I do know I was fucking pissed off that they never brought their uppers back & then their site eventually went down.

The polymer80 ones are easier to come by in Commiefornia & are crazy easy to mill out. That lower pictured has had about 4k rounds through it, and I haven't seen even a stress discoloration let alone a crack.

If I weren't in Commiefornia, a magnesium lower would sound attractive.

no. UTG started as a cheap airsoft parts company. they then started making cheap copies of real gun parts in steel, aluminum, rubber, and plastic

many of the parts were crudely made, but today they are just made cheaply in materials (steel or 6065 AL, and injection molded rubber, and ABS instead of glass filled nylon resin). so they'll work, and they'll be "okay".

they are just cheap and heavy. the UTG rail in particular is rather nice because the older steel ones are tougher than the AL ones.
